Ezell Harding 2001-2002. Scott Smith was running the spread no huddle offense 16yrs ahead of the game when high schools were dominated by the traditional I formations & wing-t. No high school defense in middle Tennessee was prepared for that type of up tempo offense & spread formations at that time. Truly a special team with special coaches & players in that Era. I agreed 100% & I definitely respect big chief's passion & loyalty to GCS. Quite frankly, that school needs as much of that as possible. Heck, every school needs that! But sometimes there's not enough of that going around. Anyway, not once have I gotten on here bashed any player, coach, or GCS itself. I've only tried to gain a better understanding of how such a powerhouse is in this current situation.

It wasn't an attempt to undermine any previous statements, but I guess you're entitled to your opinion. I legitimately wanted to know & still do. With that being said, can you please point me in the right direction so I can find it myself?

What is his overall record? More importantly, what is his record over the last 3 or 4yrs? I'm just curious brother b/c you seem very knowledgeable of Coach J.

Lol, I agree. I'm a little confused over here too. However, I do believe GCS has what they need to win games. Whether it's used correctly or whether the kids are inspired to play to their full potential is another question...

I did brother/sister (your gender isn't specified, so please forgive me...lol) Eers & I still don't believe they were a winless team last season. Don't know if it was play calling, scheme/strategy, the kids tanking, or just flat out a lower talent pool, but it did not work. The biggest issue I had with the games I watched was the energy level & enthusiasm. Coaches & players alike looked like they did not care about success & was just happy to be out there in general. Just my own personal observation...

I don't know if Joslin a good coach or not. He seems like a great guy though. From what I've read, he's been pretty good in the past, but what about the last couple of years? Football has changed tremendously since he was doing good things. Lol, look I like the guy, I'm just trying to get a better understanding. It can't all be on the players right? I seriously didn't believe GCS was a winless team this year.

Quality point, I was just curious if anyone in here knew. So from what I read on this board, is that it is a combination of issues that has created this "funk" that GCS can't seem to crawl out of. I guess my next question would be, given what happened to Joslin's predecessor & with him being on a similar path up until this point, realistically....How many games will GCS give this gentleman to produce results?

Just curious, did Goodpasture ever disclose to their community or the public who the other candidates were that Joslin beat out for the HC job?
