  1. The 2017 Holiday Hoopfest is set for December 14-16, 2017. We are excepting the first 8 boys and girls teams. All games will be held at Brick. Church Middle School in Nashville, TN. For more information contact jermarcus.mcinnis@mnps.org
  2. There will be scrimmages for middle school football teams to compete against teams from other counties to get ready for the 2017 season. Scrimmages will be in Nashville, TN at Overton High School. For more info contact jermarcus.mcinnis@mnps.org
  3. Coach Robinson at App said Good will play the 1. They usually run 2 PG's with one of them being more of a scorer. So he may fit in their well.
  4. Yeah Ruot has to have a big game. Westview has a taller kid that does a lot of talking and is really physical. I'm pulling for them because in only year 2 of the Battle era they are at state.
  5. Whites Creek hustles. Kids aren't really skilled but play hard. Ruot is a better defensive player Tham offensive right now. Westview mat have the edge
  6. Might want to call the right person names. Those elderly eyes have you seeing things. You may want to read up on schools so you know your stuff. https://wcah.org/Gen/2cPtPtPtPt.aspx?p1=2824&p2=2823&p3=2825&p4=2826&ph=2827
  7. That's only in MidTN genius. Read the original statement like you told me earlier my elderly lad
  8. That is true. If he gets taller it'll be like when he was at Knox Doss
  9. If that J.G. kid grows a couple of inches it will be bad for that district. Kid is a solid player and plays really hard.
  10. He's taking visits to Coker College, UAFS and NJIT in the next 3 weeks.
  11. I'm not sure. He sends out flyers to every HS coach and he has a pretty decent turnout. I know that all of his guys that want to play at the next level he gets them in school.
  12. I guess in 14 years you forgot how to paraphrase. You may need a new form of thinking because that old thought process has you forgetting that things change ole pal. Lead Academy and KIPP Academy are both 1A open enrollment schools and they have multiple campuses that all can play for 1 team. Doesn't mean you get talent. The fact the you are a "veteran" at giving your opinion is great! You deserve an award, right? Find someone who that might intimidate.... That should make your day. Good luck to your team in the tournament
  13. The fact is you said no else will win w/o a Memphis team stumbling correct?
  14. I don't have a team..... you all win it all!
  15. If you read all the statements you be able to use some critical thinking skills and figure it out. Just because you make it to state doesn't mean you are good. That's a terrible assumption
  16. My buddy does. Keeps a solid team and provides them with skill development 2 twice a week. Has kids from all over MidTN
  17. Who are the playing travel for?? Just asking because they are only a couple decent programs in Mid TN
  18. So now because a team ins't from Memphis and they don't have a chance???? Sounds like your excuse if your team loses. You get points for sticking up for your county. There are a few 1A public schools in the mid state and they have the resources to pull kids in. They aren't Magnet or private. Sheesh sorry that you can't lose and say they are better rather than they are from a city that has 1M people in it
  19. You are a loyal fan. Good for you. MTCS IS NOT GOOD IN MY OPINION!!! The kids may try hard and they may win but they aren't good. I don't have a dog in the fight so maybe my vision is a little clearer than others, but they aren't good. Take away any other teams best player and see how far they get......
  20. Glad you can read final scores. Every team you named isn't that great including lead. MTCS was the best at that time. Not hard to beat Huntland. Foster shoots a million shots. Columbia Academy's lil guard shoots all their shots. Nashville Christian isn't great. They all woukd lose to Mitchell.
  21. He is. He wants to go D1 and is a D1 athlete but he may have to take what he has which are high D2 offers. You all always make an appearance. Really consistent teams there.
  22. The refs had a lot to do with that game. I was at that one. They still had a chance to win that one.
  23. ok that was the first game of state for Lead. Jackson just told me he didn't shoot enough that game. The will be back in 2 years. They have 3 8th graders 6'1-PG, 6,5-F 6'7-F that all will be pretty good.
