Rabbitranch you are exactly right. This year with the exception of a few games, schedule was very weak. William Blount and Maryville, Meigs, LA, and McMinn were the toughest games they played to my knowledge. I may have missed one or two. Competition only makes you better.

It will be tough to win it next year. Several good teams will be back at the Boro. They will be talented and quick but will have no length. They will lose close to half of their roster after next season. Lots of upcoming seniors I believe. Good luck to Coach Morgan and the Chargerettes. He's a class act.

I give Upperman a lot of credit. Many on this board blaming refs. Shocker. Referees don't win or lose a game in a 20+ point contest. Congrats to both teams on great seasons.

I agree this will be a close one. I think Granger will be a bit more battle tested than MC is at this point. With the exception of the Christmas tournament, LA, and Meigs, most of their games have been one sided against a lot of weak competition. I think Centrals talent and deep bench will pull this one out but size could hurt them a bit.

I wouldn't pay much attention to the records of the 2 teams involved. I think this game will be a dogfight.
