thatoneguy must be hoarse from all the yelling....havent heard from him since the game. it sounds like the only maniacs in maryville tonite was oak ridge. good luck to both teams in the district and good luck to oak ridge in the region.

the game is won on the field not in the stands. an overemphasis placed on crowd contribution may distract the very team you support. good luck to both teams...should be a good one.

would someone or everyone please list the region #'s and the top 4 teams in each region as we enter tourney time.

SD...you probably wont see them again. your chances of moving on past the region are much better than maryvilles chances. not downing maryville, they are just in a very tough region. however, good luck to both teams.

alot of the east teams are complaining, but please note that in the east there are several very good teams and they are beating up each other. bearden beats farragut, mcminn beats bearden, catholic beats mcminn, maryville beats catholic, farragut beats maryville...etc. these games may hurt records and rankings but will pay dividends in memphis. records mean nothing come tourney time.

if these games had been played you would not be undefeated......if they are made up you wont be. you say that you have played brentwood and baylor....not this year and chances are you lost when you played them....otherwise you would have said we have beaten brentwood and baylor. hope you make it to memphis cause schedules and records dont matter there.

if the two play again it will be at soddy in the region. that is a great place to play...very nice field and the stadium is great. im sure the principal didnt overlook the racial comments if he heard them. he would have never achieved that position by being that negligent. soddy beat mcminn on the field that nite, plain and simple. a big ignorant fan is just a big ignorant fan. every school has one. it is only sad to see a class team with a great win being overshadowed by a moron in the stands. hats off to you soddy.....hope you make it to memphis. good luck!

mr black......you know me under a different name (we will try to get the state team back together this year)......their schedule is easy.....they probably will lose to anyone they play in the sectionals..if they make it that far. i would guess that there are at least 20 teams in AAA better than them and 10 that would beat them everytime they play them...even on an off day.

first of all, you never use quotations as if it were a quote when you say..." Their coach (cookeville) was quoted in the paper saying something like" you said "saying something like".......he said something LIKE what you quoted......so it wasnt a quote even though you used quotation marks. please dont misquote someone. as for brentwood..are they that good? they are one of the better teams in the state.....but just one of them. the state has a little more parody this year...there are probably 10 or 12 teams with a chance to win it all....brentwood is one of them.
