karns beat powell 8-4 tonight brian fogarty pitched for karns. he pitched very well.

it should be a very interesting and tight race in may.... im excited!

i heard the pioneers come in, but they weren't very loud. the beavers took it to them..... 10-3

hammered......? were we watching the same game? karns came back in the last inning scored 5 runs in the last inning and nearly beat you. we also threw 4 pitchers and put subs into the game in the 4th or 5th inning.

karns plays central today at karns and tomorrow at central. if karns wins one out of the two games then they have won the district.

i agree. karns is a very good baseball team. they were were not clicking on wednesday though. their pitchers couldnt get ahead in the count and lockwood threw a great game. karns can play with anyone in east tennessee when they are on all cylinders. karns is no longer just a middle of the road team, karns is being compared to farragut and south doyle now. they had an impressive 12-1 win on thursday against gibbs.

i think they can appear in 10 innings. this situation happened last year in the district tournament between halls and oak ridge. oak ridge won the game on scoreboard but their pitcher threw too many innings that week and so oak ridge had to forefit the game and that put them out of the tournament.
