As far as bringing in talent ... he can work that magic .. he has proven that ...see Powell roster .... now as far as adminstrative and hiring coaches ..he has never done that on this level ..so continuity will be key .. and how much pressure is put on by boosters whose son has been in program for years and now a player from outside has been brought in and is taking PT away .. we will see how that goes .. evidently it was handled at Powell well .. winning was above all else there ... alot of looking the other way if you know what i mean ..

Jeff McMillan the father has 30 yrs or so coaching experience and is the HC at Fulton .. his son Clark has been the WR coach at Fulton for 5 or 6 years id say and now is OC at Bearden

Clark has been an assistant coaching WR's at Fulton for the past few years ..so yes he has HS coaching experience .. probably for the last say 5 or 6 years ... very good with kids, good teacher , good football mind .. will do well given some skill guys .. he and Josh have worked together before ..so dont see any issues there ..

Bring it back .. hope the officials are better .. SS shot 26 free throws .. Falcons 10 ... terrible calls ... hurt us bad with put point guard having to sit all but 3 mins of 1st hlaf with 2 fouls but anyway maybe next year for my Falcons ..they should be able to get back ... they will have 4 jrs and a sr starting next year .. good luck Devils !!!!!

Hopefully we can get by a good Jackson SS team to meet the Devils ... Devils definately got the best bracket but hopefully playing better teams on the way will help us .. yes Greeneville won big last year .. we started 3 freshmen and a soph last year .. those guys are a year older ... and will be for 2 more years so looking good for Falcons .. with a stud frosh coming up too .. if we are so lucky and you have to play them one at a time .. SS has a good team and Falcons will be hard pressed to win but if we somehow pull that out then hopefully we are able to stay on the court with the mighty " already have the state won " DEVILS

Seems like Knox Cath would want to play the best .... KC has 3 OL already offered by Tennessee and Rogers a Clemson commit and their best player IMO - Kuerchen who is D1 talent also .. and a host of others who will be playing in some form of college .. heck my poor ole Carter team may have 1 or 2 that could play on Div 3 teams .... a team like they have they arent really showing how good they are ..they will steam roll all they play all the way thru playoffs ... but if they get joy and a feel of accomplishment doing that then I guess thats most important to them ... but ig they are skirting the rules by staying in D1 by masking some payments for tuition .. then shame on them .

They already travel to Chattanooga , Nashville and Belfrey KY to play games .. so if only 7 teams in it then it would only require maybe 1 more travel game and they could fill in schedule with Publics and play close to home ... I think they may be using this as excuse .. I dont think Knox Catholic wants any part of the D2 AAA Privates ... we all now that there are kids at knox Catholic getting aid but how they mask it .. the TSSAA will not have the funds or manpower to investigate ..so look for KC to stay D1 ... and stay away from the other BIG privates who they want no part of ....

They should make Privates play privates .. even the playing field for us teams like Carter ....

Punishment .... what was punishment and to what school ???? I wont name names either but there is a family that I am familiar with that have kids that go to KC and they pay samr tuition for all but none play sports ... the father did however say they had a kid he knows was told could not afford to go there that played football and that some other source had to be paying his way either thur church or other source ..

You can only hope ..TSSAA doesnt have the money to pay independant auditors to go over books etc ..... it would easily be made to think that all students pay same tuition as their siblings or that the student wasnt receiving aid from anonymous source .. so if the school wanted to make it look like they were in compliance it would be easy. Dishonest but easy ... they would just have to go to confessional ....

Who would police that ?? TSSAA doesnt have any way to check that .. so guess it honor system ???

Never said I had a friend that coached there .. said I knew a coach there .. I just moved here from Nashville with my job and he is neighbor .. we discussed cutting grass more than anything .. lol .. but just a little football .. so I'm not real familiar with privates on this end of state .. if you don't care to answer my previous questions then don't.. sounds like u trying to skirt issue .. but next time I run into neighbor I will see what he says .. take care

I work with a guy .. his brother had some kids go there and the dad was in a furniture restoration business ... he musta made some good money cause they had trainers coming to the home to work out his kids ... I said wow .. there is some cash there .... when u can afford to have trainers come to you !!!!

Why wont the privates that are that close not play ????? Who are they ????? Do they play D1 or D2 ???

Why would they not have the money . .Correct me if wrong but is Knox Cath one of the largest Privates in State ?? ( im asking I dont know ) - didi t you say you already travel to KY and Nash .. that means only 2 or 3 more trips ... if KC wanted to play D2 they would ... the coach I know said that they dont want to play D2 against the big boys .. just repeating what I was told. But answer me a question .. In not sure about this ..if a scholl gives any aid ..either from a donor or church to a student or athlete does that make them have to play D2 ?? If so you cant tell me that none of those kids get any help financially .

You may be correct ..i said maybe Maryville .. but yes some of the D2 Privates are like playing small colleges ... but doesnt look like Knox Cath wants any part of that... but I thought if scholl gave financial aid that it had no choice .. you mean to tell me noone at KC gets any financial aid from anywhere ?? All privates face that same issue .. and sorry there is a big difference in the teams you mentioned and the big privates.. the big privates are better teams for sure aside from Maryville maybe and all go by same rules .. but looks like Catholic doesn't want to test the waters .. even though they are one the bigger privates ..

I've heard some rumblings that Knox Catholic wants to stay Division 1 .. they not real excited about possibly hitting with the big boys in Division 2 ..
