I think they have the athletes as well. But maybe not the disciples for 4 quarters.

They have a Chance. But I think they’re gonna have to get at least 3 or 4 stops to win. Waverly has a good offense but it’s nothing Peabody can’t handle. But I don’t think, despite the fact that they’ve improved, that Waverlys defense will be able to hold Peabody down

To be fair they did hold Huntingdon to just 7 tho...

I’m rooting for Waverly this week for the pure reason that they beat us and they deserve our respect. By Peabody is a lot better. They have an incredible defense and I guarantee if they got the chance to play GC again they would beat them really bad. Waverly has a pretty good offense and a much better defense than they had earlier in the year. But waverlys offense is not unstoppable and their defense can be moved on. Peabody 41 Waverly 21

Davidson would not beat Covington and wouldn’t even be remotely close to beating Alcoa. Don’t say dumb stuff like that.

CA lost to Waverly by 4 with lots of injuries and Peabody was better than us when we were healthy. And Waverlys offense is stoppable. Didn’t score in the second half on us when our players stepped up. UC isn’t as good as last year, but I guarantee they could hang with Waverly. Peabody will beat Waverly for sure if they play

#32 is the back up to the back up to the back up. Had our other back up not been injured he would’ve been playing. But I do agree. 32 stepped up very well for a freshmen who has never been in that type of situation before. He should turn out nice

I was wrong about LC and riverside. The only thing that I got wrong about our game was picking CA by a few points instead of Waverly by a few points. CA converts that fourth down, they drive to the end zone and win. Waverly stepped up and got the stop but it wasn’t a blow out like most of y’all predicted

Greenback will reign supreme once again this year. Would love to see a west team win it though

I am very very pleased with how well he did especially after the turnover. You’ve got to have a lot of confidence to go out there in such a huge game and be expected to perform. He’ll be very good in due time I believe.

Yes. After the first interception he did decently well. But he was really their back up back up back up QB. #34 was the original back up. His back up has been out with a shoulder injury. And then his back up had to play when 34 went down.

Unfortunately our offense was never the same after losing our QB. They still came very close to winning tonight. Got stopped on a 4th and 2 on a game winning drive

I can’t tell if this is hating on CA or not

Still very proud of what CA did tonight. Not the outcome for the season any what wanted, but still did very well facing adversity the majority of the season. No one gave CA a shot in the dark to slow down Waverly’s offense and they were able to. Waverlys defense stepped up as well. I just can’t get that fumble turnover out of my head where we just dropped it without being hit.

Incredible 2nd half by CA. Just came up short unfortunately. The defense definitely showed out in the second half, just couldn’t finish it out on that last possession. Heck of a game Waverly. I will root for y’all all the way through
