I agree penalties helped but Stewart turned the ball over also. It was a close game till the return for a TD on a lateral pass. I did not say you could not stop the run, I said Waverly can do both. They also have a better defensive secondary. The long passes really helped Fairview last night. . Fairview has a good team but they always do.I feel that SC gave a very respectable effort against a better team !

Saw Waverly in the spring and. Fairview last night. If Stewart County had the passing To go with the run last night then the Jackets could have been in trouble. Fairviews trouble Will be that Waverly can do both. Better show up ready to play .

Fairview is always a tough team to face. I do believe that coach Swartz will be a good one. I don't remember Stewart County ever having 27 freshmen but hopefully it will pay dividends On down the road. Hope to give the yellow jackets a respectable game ! Should be a large crowd for the home opener and fish fry before the game !

. I thought Stewart looked Ok. New head Coach Chanz Swartz has theTask of building this program. He has about 29 freshmen but his team hung in with WC. Obviously has things to work on but I do have faith that this young man will be a good coach. One thing for sure, I don't think he will be leaving as he is deeply rooted .

WC does have a good sized line. Running back number 34 is a good runner.
