Sure Meigs wanted another crack at Marion....I mean they were taken to the woodshed 2 years in a row! Not that as a Meigs fan I thought they'd have a shot at beating Marion but, maybe just tighten the score a bit more. So Meigs lost .....still the kids made a good run! Sure I think Marion will do what they do and proceed to the semifinals with ease. Being from the same region it seems fitting to support them. Makes perfect sense to me.

I will agree it was a great game. Everyone school has certain should we say "followers" that can get out of hand. Its not tied to just one school or another. But, I would not say say either team was completely innocent. Tension was high it was an important game for both teams. Coupled with teenagers and a contact sport things can sometimes escalate quickly. I enjoyed the game. As, I said last night good luck and congrats to Forrest! I am still pulling for the other MC from Region 3!

This Meigs fan never made a prediction. CoachT does not represent the entire fan base. Forrest won by 3...it was pure D all night. Game is done.... I am only stating a fact Marion is tough!!! I'm pulling for Region 3. Marions D is one of the best if not the best in the state. Meigs was never expected to see a 1st round game. So to make it to a 2nd round and to have all those penalty yards.....yet still be able to take it to the wire. I think they done a fantastic job! I'm giving credit to the coaches and most importantly the kids!!!! Great season Meigs will have some good teams on the way. Oh by the way even though we didn't have a Mr. Football semi-finalist we had a few pretty big plays of our own. On to basketball I think Meigs makes a trip to the glass house this year!!!

Lots of people thought so..Meigs had a bunch of penalties offsides and holding. Forrest didn't have very many at all. Still both teams fought hard was a good game. Meigs had a great season. Coach is really building a solid program. I think if things stay on the up and up the Tigers will make some more runs. I'm gonna say after what I saw tonight. I hope Forrest is ready cause the other MC from Region 3 is going to be way more than a handful. The Warriors will do what they do and score at will!!!!

Thanks....Great post!! I'm not predicting anything. Hopefully a great game for both sides. Meigs has been looking good as of late. Hoping they can keep up the pace on the road. Should be a crowd of Tiger fans coming with them!

So....I'm curious as to what happened during the Jackson County Vs. Forrest game? I'm not being ugly either I know we saw Jackson County. Our new friend ( and possibly biggest fan) Dr. Amerigha likes to talk about past games but, has never offered a synopsis on that one. Again, not being ugly I'd just like to know. Teams have bad nights. I know Meigs sure had one at Marion. Started out bad and went in a downward spiral from there.

Not making any predictions here. But, I would not underestimate Meigs County in athletic ability or preparation. These kids have made huge progress since the first of the season. However, it is a long trip. I think it should be a good game. No matter the outcome I'm awful proud of these Tigers!!!!

If you had been watching Meigs for as long as I have you'd know that most of us will be happy with one playoff win. I just don't understand why when a team wins it just can't be what it is......We all know they had a very, very bad game against Marion. No excuses for that loss. But, week after week I see the kids improve. The number of seniors has nothing to do with it when most of them haven't even played 4 full years and some don't even start. I'm just saying Meigs out played their opponent and got the W. Respect the kids for their efforts. After all, it's all about them. I'm just a has been in the stands.

Guess you just had to see it in person to understand. From the comments I heard being tossed around at the tournament I know exactly why I mentioned it. I'm not a fan of Silverdale. With very good reason. Seems we didn't impress one poster "on either side of the ball". So I was just saying I didn't care if we did or didn't. Doesn't matter it's in the past. I'm moving on now. To the games in front.... hoping for a playoff game. With a little luck maybe the kids can scratch out a W Friday.
