I hear every one talking about have they have play makers and talented kids. Being honest just see average high school football players. The biggest problem with offense is qb play. The spread is built for qb to run or pass and he simply can not do it

i would put in some packages for the freshman qb. If so loaded with talent got to score. So Zeman,Walt or Saylors would not have scored those or talented offensive players just don’t see it but hey what do I know

I will say you better be a great runner or a great pass thrower. I personally think this warriors team should be able to run the ball on a majority of teams they play maybe I’m wrong though. I personally watched them in jamboree and it seems like they got a couple of horses to run the football.  Anyone ever hear what happened to #4?

I agree that the talent and weapons are there. And SP SHOULD take the east if they play like they are capable of. But I wouldn't say no team in the state can get them. There are a few teams out west that have a legit shot.

I’ve been trying to check some of those teams out. I’d say there are 3 or 4 that can stand toe to toe.

  3. Some just don’t like it when they are getting that #### whipped. Would you sit there and let someone degrade you and not shove back ? SP had done it for years whipping that #### and the other team get pissed off. You got to defend your self. There was a fight with Sequatchie early 2000’s then there was the central fight in 2010 those were swinging punches not last night lol.

Moore Co is no South Pitt BUT should be interesting as I understand that it is MC's homecoming. That adds a little spice. MC doesn't have the depth of SP so I think FC can use their size and athletes to compete. The wildcard is by the time this game rolls around will Moore Co's QB be 100%? Folks on this thread probably get tired of reading about him, but he is the cog that keeps the machine running. As he goes, MC goes. MC wouldn't have beat Fayetteville City last night by 3 TDs if not for QB White. I've been fortunate to see MC win two state runner up finishes and 13 region titles, and he is hands down the best QB the program has seen. (Sorry if that ran a little long)

I think SPvsFC probably could have been 3 or 4 scores in favor of pirates tbh. Lord of things to clean up but I’d say MC/FC could be a 1 score game potentially. Also that depends if rebels just fold there season if they can’t get a win or two under them.

Da Piratez need to clean a few thangz up an play a lil more disciplined no doubt, but unlike a few of y’all boyz I like da chippy play. Dis team iz full of dawgz and dey know it!

ain’t a soul in da east getting in dey way and datz a fact. Can’t nobody match up across da board wit dem in da east. I think most will have a hard time blockin deez cats in orange and black.

FC line was physical and dey skill guys were az good as advatized. Some of da worst officiating I done Eva seen doe I’m jus keepin it 100 wit y’all!

FC lost a ton. RB Jones is by far their best player. Pearson on the line is a force too. QB lost all his main weapons. Had an official at a middle school game tell me that the FC QB has been struggling. FC may lose a game to a 1A team this year. That would be embarrassing for that program.......

I wouldn’t call it embarrassing I don’t think unless it was potentially Huntland.

This year's Pirate team has weapons everywhere but still have lots of things to work on especially offensively. Defense looks very good and very fast.

I always felt like defense was so much easier than offense. We have the talent to line up defensively man to man like the old Saban teams and say try to score on us. Offensively especially in the spread with the QB we have there is so many more moving pieces than being under center IMO.

Who do y’all boyz think will be da biggest tezt fa dis Pirate team in da regula seazon?

    Franklin County(5a regardless)

    Sequatchie( typically ALWAYS hard nosed)

    MTCS (RB is a STUD)

NJ (Anyone here how they looked in jamboree?)

I personally think they can present many challenges if we lack focus etc.

This team defensively is scary how good it could be. Offensively I thought we ran the ball with much better authority with tons of growth on the horizon.

You’re funny. I didn’t know about any appeals when I posted that he had misrepresented the truth (since you are so triggered by the word liar over there in Marion county) my beef wasn’t with him playing or y’all recruiting or not recruiting.

Saw a news article with untruths (another good adjective) and wanted to set the record straight. I assumed from the article that he was eligible already.

I didn’t even think y’all recruited him more like he went searching for someone to take him since his cleats are no good in Georgia and then lied (oops) to get someone to pay him.

Go ahead and be his benefactor. He will leave that place in December and never look back. He’s not going to send y’all crap back from Auburn it’s all going to the girlfriend lol. Go ahead and retire his jersey while you’re at it-you didn’t train him or coach him up but go ahead and take the credit for Romes work.

Am I missing the point here or what? You keep driving this into the ground? Do you have a personal vendetta against the kid, TSSAA, or SP? Continuing to ramble is a waste of your time and breath the lord has given you.

  10. Whenever we do find out I’m sure the school will make the correct decision. If the kid is eligible great if the kid isn’t eligible then I’m sure he will most definitely be looking forward to Auburn. Everyone giving there two cents on his home life, eligibility status, previous history, etc must work for the TSSAA I guess. It’s to my knowledge that every kid must go through the eligibility process and they don’t approve all of them at the same time. Every new student or transfer in the TSSAA books has an extensive process each student athlete is checked on. Once that decision has ran it’s course then we should know something.
