What does the schedule look like?

I not sure the truth of the scheduling thing but I do know that they crucified Bryant when he tried dropping Marion and SP. I personally think Tate has got several people brained washed. He brates his players and some assistants behind closed doors and is very unprofessional. He would throw everyone off the ship before him. Grundyplayer made the smartest decision he's ever made by getting off that staff. I just hate seeing the other young assistant making a stupid decision and putting all his faith in Tate. If or when a change is made the first call the new coach makes needs to be to Grundyplayer. We need young coaches who love Grundy involved.

Bryant passed when he had the players in place but the first few years it was a run oriented spread. But Franklin is way to big of a school to struggle like they do. Regardless of who they hire. They need a guy who can get all the kids out and coach to the team strength.

I've talked to many Grundy supporters that are much older than me and they have been around a long time and they say this is the worst they ever seen our program. They may have been 100 people there Friday and most left after Sr night festivities. It would take a special person to save our beloved program and I'm not just talking wins or losses but also rallying the community again. In my opinion not many people liked Tate to begin with.

Don't be fooled GC fans. We all know how Sequatchie really feels about us!!!!

Well evidence proves after some time of thinking about it. I think the biggest mistake our coach made was getting on here and bashing the previous staff and now it's turned on him. Be careful what you wish for. It's sad that he not only read these forums but was a member who frequently posted on here. If I were a coach in no way would I ever get on here. But Tate can't stand not to.

The alarming thing to me is how we are losing games the last two seasons the same way. Either get blown out or lose a close game in the 4th. Also both years we have a ton of flags and coaches. Seems like a bad trend.

Sequatchie should be our measuring stick. No disrespect towards Sequatchie(who has made a great hire and slowly building something special) but GC should compete with them almost every year but looks like to me they are becoming a power of the valley. Our program is in shambles and something/someone needs to step in and stop this train wreck.

I'm so glad our county is starting to see what some have known for years. I truly believe that if Grundy doing start to change than in about 10 years we may barely be able to field teams in any sport.

The Sanders kid told me personally that he and his father didn't want to play for Tate. But he did say he enjoyed and liked his travel ball experience with SP. The reason Holland didn't play football was because he was in an heated QB battle with Mainord and Bryant decided to go with a more experienced Mainord.

To my knowledge Mainord and Holland approached Tate when hired and he told them he was running the veer no matter what that he could win without them.

Coaches for years at Grundy have done decent(well competitive) with the same stuff Tate has buried.
