This time next week I have a feeling TC will be starting a new coaching search.......once again. Although TC does have a lot better chance this week than last week's game.

You do not fully understand what I am saying nor have you seen TC play year in and year out obviously. If Satterfield or Creasy has this TC team for the past two years (not just for last nights game), that TC team would look COMPLETELY different. Those kids would be COMPLETELY different players mentality and physically.

TC just flat out got whipped! If NCS wins the state this year, it is a shame that they are the best team in 1A. No disrespect to NCS. I have just seen a lot of high school football over the years and that is my personal opinion. Six classifications has really diluted TN football. NCS does have few solid players though. #11 is a really good 1A RB. I was impressed with #1 as well. The OL has good size and is very solid. #34 is no where near the dominant force he should be and could be. NCS is better than TC. But with that being said, if TC has Satterfield or Creasy coaching that TC team there is no doubt TC wins. Maybe even makes a run at another gold ball. Yes those two coaches make that much of a difference. TC has made a living off beating teams better than them because of coaching, conditioning and toughness. Right now TC has none of that. They had none of it last year as well. As for the private school comments, yes they should be playing in their own league but TC has been VERY successful against private schools in the past. TC used to play BGA, CPA, FRA, DCA and FCS on a regular basis. And won four gold balls in the 90's while doing so. TC has and will always complain about playing private schools, but not because TC can't beat them that is for sure. NCS has caught TC at the right time the past two years. The past two years have not been TC football. But don't worry, TC football may be back again as early as next year.

I am not sure what your definition of a college football player is but anyone, I mean anyone, can find a place to play college football. And yes I stand by my point that 2 great players on a 1A team can make a world of difference. Nothing against the integrity of the game. That is just the way 1A football is and will always be. And maybe it wasn't a well played game because you didn't play your 2 best players you think?

That lineman (#57 I think) will make a world of difference. If I am not mistaken, he plays center. #34 for NCS lines up over the center every snap. No matter who TC puts there, snapping the ball with him in front of you will be hard enough. #57 is also a starting LB. And from what I have seen, TC doesn't have anyone that can fill that role as well. Yes TC is better than last year and NCS is not as good, but this could be as ugly as the 2nd half last year all 4 quarters tonight. NCS could only run 1 formation and 3 plays and win this one handily if they so choose. But.........if NCS has a timely turnover or two and TC can get a special teams TD, look out.

In 1A, all it takes is 2 dominant athletes on a team to make a world of difference. Just like NCS this year for instance. #11 and #34 did not play against a weak MTCS and barely won. But yet with them, no one in the region can beat them (by the way they shlould handle TC easily tonight with those 2 healthy). Take #12 and #35 off NCS last year and they are not near as dominant. Good but not dominant. Heck #12 is the starting RB for Murray State and #35 is at UT. That is very rarely to ever happen for a 1A team. I bet these 4 kids have mopped a lot of gym floors! lol

Keeton is not interested in ever being a head coach. The younger Satterfield is not interested in being a head coach. Dobbs......possibly. Not sure of his and Satt's relationship nowadays. Woodmore.....not sure if he will even be called to interview after he didn't take the job last time. The older Satterfield is definitely not even an option. Creasy is definitely not an option. But I will throw this name out there for you Trousdale Co people........Davy Cothron! You heard it here first!

Sorry.......but not a chance!

I just want to let you guys in on a few things...... 1) TC coach was caught on camera multiple times over a significant period of time putting gas into his personal vehicles without permission to do so. He did in fact have a key to the gas pump, but it was only to be used for the mowers and tractors at the football field. No one ever told him he could or couldn't use the gas for personal use. He just ASSUMED he could. And I have never heard of anywhere else that allows you to do so. 2) The police conducted an investigation prior to the school board finding anything out on the matter. The police brought the evidence to the school board. So there was in fact a completed investigation with evidence before the firing. 3) He is an very good man and has an excellent family, but he did make a mistake. Just because he is a good ole boy doesn't excuse the fact he misused gas. With that said, I sure hope he lands on his feet very soon for his family's sake. Everyone who knew him and the family really loved him. School board, teachers, and the community. He was very, very good to the kids. He is too good of a man to let this incident define him. 4) This firing had nothing to with his coaching ability. He violated school board policy. The firing had to take place. He was fired from his teaching job first, which in turn he lost the coaching job. He failed to comply with the standard set for all teachers. He doesn't get a pass because he is the football coach either. 5) Satterfield's son will not be the next coach. Neither one of them even want the job. 6) Please keep everyone involved in your prayers. It is a bad situation all the way around that had to take place. 7) I have no idea who will be the next coach.
