We played Moore Co a couple of weeks ago and it was a defensive battle till the last five minutes of the game. We haven't seen City this year yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a low scoring game between the two if MC brings their defense again.

Not gonna lie. This one hurt a little. I'll keep my opinions of the refs, penalties and bad play calling to myself. But hats off to Whitwell. You got it done when it was necessary, not only in this game but against SP and GB.

The winner of this game will be decided on who makes the least mistakes. See, I can do it too. But seriously folks... Dawgs win 28-7

I absolutely understand that feeling. Last year was the first year Cornersville won a game in the playoffs then took it all the way to State. Brought a sense of unity and excitement never seen before as well. When we played our first game this year, you would think we just got back from Cookeville. Enjoy it. It's an awesome moment.

In regards to support, we are a football school. In regards to accomplishments, Football school, but we just sent two to state in Cross Country and won second in a chess competition. We tend to be competitive in the district in all sports but fall short in the playoffs. We have a girls soccer but no boys soccer since we don't have enough guys to form a team. Of course we have baseball, softball and basketball but we also have a swim team and a badminton team but the badminton doesn't play anyone, lol. We're a football school.

I look forward to this group of boys.

This was not a quote from Bull02 but if the original writer is referring to their safeties, one was a Mr. Football finalist and the other was invited to the East West game. I'd say they're pretty great.

The Dawgs are leaving after school on Friday. Staying in a hotel Friday night. But it is a business trip. No sightseeing and no frills. They have work to do.

Interesting that Whitwell will have a Mr. Football Semi-Finalist, Hudson Petty, playing against a Mr. Football Finalist, Cameron Whitaker. Petty will be looking to prove something on the field. On that same note, two of the Mr. Football finalist are out of the playoffs leaving only Cornersville's Whitaker. Would be interesting if Greenback's Bryce Hanley gets it as some have alluded to earlier as hands down.
