As hard hitting & intense as this game will be, I hope both teams have zero injuries and all hits are clean & legal. It's rare that two overpowering undefeated teams meet in finals. But here it is, just the way it should be. To be da man you gotta beat da man. Both are da man in their half of bracket. But only one can be DaMan! ... Get 'em Lions!!!

Well... just saw THIS on FB site for Region 7>>> **NOTICE** If going to football game in Cookeville on Friday, parking costs $10, tickets $12, our Region 7 Dresden Lions' game starts at 11a.m. Policy on noisemakers are: normal, regular noisemakers ARE allowed (cowbells, beans in bottles, plastic megaphones, homemade things, etc) are all fine! But what is NOT allowed are those train horns (like Friendship Christian used), whistles (like officials use), electric/battery power trigger-style megaphone (that have sirens, whistles, voice amplifications, etc, like lifeguards, police, crowd control uses), canned airhorn/ whistle, all these not allowed. So if you go and want to be part of the 12th MAN, THEN LETS MAKE SOME NOISE! Good luck Dresden. Bring home another Gold Ball to the West & Region 7, the Home of Champions! ... well, so there we go!

WHAT!?!?!?!?! I just heard no noisemakers allowed at game? Only pom poms? What kind of mess is this? Freakish stupud train airhorn has been used before. That I can understand, but cowbells? Clickers? Or whatever. No noise makers? That hard to believe.

Our haters & doubters will become the pouters, And next to their knees will be the Kees, Yes they'll play tough but it won't be enough, This bafoon is bold, but Lions get the Gold. Blah blah blah.. Lions KNOW the calibre of players & teams we facing. Superstars indeed. Faced a bunch already. They supposed to put it to us as well. And TADA.. here we are. Still winning BIG against the best. Our wins over great teams have spoken for us, (as GB been speaking loud too!). We'll not overestimate ourselves, but will use what we have to rise up & play our best game ever. Scary thing is, as much as we been winning, we still not on all eight. This game Friday though, we'll be primed & tuned up to play our best ball, and when Dresden's BEASTS are unleashed there'll be no stopping them. Greenback is obviously awesome, fast, talented, and big, but the bigger they are, the harder they fall. And fall GB will.

Look at stats in a per-play basis. What happened when they had ball. Winn is more likely to throw a TD than an incompletion. Crazy completion percentages. Running attempts & yards are stuff of HS legends. Plus.. he equally good (even better some say) in baseball & basketball. Hard to find such athletes at any level. But often jealousy & arrogant pride keeps others from admitting the truth he better than their team's best QB's. But.. come Friday in Cookeville, folk gonna see. Yes they will.

Yeah, yeah, I know.. GB is best ever this year. Unbeatable. So when Dresden dominates them what excuses will be made then? (yeah, only foolish morons predict lopsided wins... yet those wins keep piling up against teams it was 'impossible' for Lions to beat so badly.. so how does that work I wonder? Dumb idiots making such classless predictions being so accurate? Bullseye center? How can this be?). Just amazing to listen to all the mental gymnastics GB folk saying. (Jump on bandwagon GB fans saying I am at the top of that list. But I not wrong yet! Won't be either! Lions send Cherokees back to teepees with memorable loss)

Wow. Leave to do errands and 10,000 pages written. This forum very active. I do hope GB plays its best. It's more fun beating worthy warriors instead of weak dumplings. Friday is going to be fun. Esp. for Dresden!

As usual, these saying Dresden gonna get whooped will disappear after their team gets beat. A few are man enough to eat crow, but not many. Its a character thing.

All you folk in east live in mountains. Yes, duh, it is a valley where towns are situated up there but relatively speaking, us out here in West are in flat lands, and you in East are in mountains. Wish I had lots of time on my hands to be posting as much as others. What's super funny is crazy stupid fans like me who predict a blowout against teams we play, who's fans screamed it will never happen to them, (WC, UC, Trenton, etc), well it happened! As stupid folk said it would. Wow.. Talk about being dumb. Might outta listen to all us Dresden idiots who are dead center bullseye. It not being disrespectful of others, its just Lions are lots better than folk realize. And the better our opponents, the better we havta be! Underestimating another won't happen. Overestimating one's self isn't happening. Just the facts. As Great as Greenback is, Lions will rise to occasion & be that much better. As all will see soon enough..(man I wish I had money to bet on this game if it was allowed!)

It seems the teams not wanting for Dresden to get them gold ball & rings are the teams who've already won their own fair share of shiny trophies. Greedily hogging the presents. That's not fair. Everyone knows we supposed to share & share alike, take turns, and encourage the newbie up&comers. It's how we make America great again, right? It's Dresden's turn for the gold. Our guys even paint their helmets gold hoping for one of those rare awards. And now, it's time. The Year of the Lion. Dresden shall not be denied. Go Lions!

Here we go... Yep, Dresden overrated. Weak opponents. Got lucky breaks. Too small. Too clumsy, fat, & slow. Heck, Lions such a pushover & Charmin soft Greenback will breeze thru. Don't practice too hard Greenback lest y'all hurt one another over there in them mountains of E.TN. Shucks y'all, us flatlander hicks from the sticks out here in Podunkville ain't gotta chance against the gargantuan Greenback Goliaths. Wowser... our lil boys so scared we already changing our drawers. Sho nuff is!

Wow. Rereading posts & prognostications .. Some amazing spot-on predictions! .. Yep. Big heapings of crow to eat too, plus kool-aid to drink. ..I am used to that myself. Ha! Some ain't strong enough to handle such bittersweet treats (yet it is good for you in long run). Go Lions! Go Region 7! Go West!

Yes sir! Peabody & UC both (I think) have won gold balls in multiple divisions. That one year both defending champs were in same Region, lucky 7. Dresden's only two losses were to those champs. Lions will be FOREVER grateful to Tide for beating us, we will never overlook any team ever again, overestimate one's self, nor underestimate how potent & game-changing one player can be, and esp not any team. Y'all warned us what a stud your QB was and none of us really believed the hype.. But we do now & forevermore. Sounds odd perhaps, but it is truth. That one loss changed our whole program, for the better too. Our respect and awareness of WC's studs & team abilities made our men prepare hard & play harder! Wildcats brought out Dresden's best. Well...almost our best. We still have some tweaking to do. Penalties. Blocking on all-out blitzes. Not trying to do too much. Hang on to ball with both hands. (IF we had lost those two fumbles we had which we recovered, maybe a whole diff score tonight!)... We hitting on 7 - 7.5 cylinders, by next week we will be on all eight. We will need to against Greenback. No doubt about it! Liking Lions chances though! Region 7 in 1A AND now next year in 2A with Trenton & UC moving up, we will be a force to reckon with indeed! Thanks for support. West gets Gold. .. Bet!

Our starting D has not been scored on in the second half by anyone all year!.. Yet.. We not that good with a cupcake schedule, so says doubters & naysayers. Amazing. Perhaps we made a few more believe the hype. And Dresden still not done. Next is Greenback! Got unfinished business Lions! ...btw, WC, let's make this a yearly event. Whatcha say? Y'all were exciting with potential. Scored in a hurry! Made our team feel what we usually do to others. But we got back up off the mat with a vengeance. Lots of things went our way tonight. Hmmm... just thought of something. The defending champs are the king of the hill until knocked off. Since WC beat NCS, in spite of polls that means WC is now Da Man. Favored to win. Wildcats know Lions won't be as much of a contest as NCS was. So Wildcats can take a lil breather this game as they get ready for Cookeville. They can go 1/2 speed & partial effort and still easily win against the obviously overrated Lions who seem better even on film because their opponents were so weak. Dresden had a cupcake schedule and won't be too difficult to handle. Plus Wildcats don't wanna risk any bad injuries to WC keys players either. As clumsy & awkward, and as fat & slow as Lions are they may trip over their own feet and have a freakish accidental roll-up injury to a nearby WC player. No way I'd risk that if I a WC coach or fan. Yeah, that's the ticket Wildcats need to punch to get to Cookeville. WC needs to cheer: Pork Chop, Pork Chop, Greasy Greasy.. Wildcats gonna win Easy Easy. Yeah. that's it.

Well I got stuff to do. Won't post much after saying this.. Dresden will win. And whether by alot or by one, Lions going to Cookeville... But I'd be willing to pawn all of what lil I got, & bet the bundle that the score will be more lopsided than any expected. Bet.

hehe. Well, when one eats crow as much as some of us have you actually develop an acquired taste for it. Sort of like castor oil. Yukky indeed, but actually good for you and so you force it down. We crazy idiotic fans ain't been wrong yet. Just having fun. Everyone knows the battle ahead.. and WC are worthy warriors, that's why the saying I seen is imo a great one> 'The harder the battle the sweeter the victory.' I thinking of that roundball cheer at moment: V - I - C - T - O - R - Y ... v-i-c-t-o-r-y. And the song: 'Babababaaaaby you ain't seen nothing yet!' ... Now if by some awful turn of events WC wins then I and most Dresen fans will, in midst of heartbreaking disappointment & tears, we'll stand up & salute, congratulate, and say 'Well Done! Good job!'. We even clapped for other teams (who had few fans & were clearly out-matched) when they made a first down or a rare TD. (How many home fans you know of who clap for other team's achievements during game?). There's no shame in being beat by a clearly better team ... But it is rare the opponents do the same for Lions. But we're used to it. Haters gonna hate, & winners gonna win. Just the way it is, part of the territory I guess. Go Lions!
