I guess you are referring to all the Bledsoe county kids migrating sw to whitwell. If Bledsoe would hire an offensive minded head coach to go with those freshman from last yr and keep those young kids from going toplay on whitwell’s pee wee teams then they could duplicate what whitwell just accomplished.
Can’t blame a parent for taking a child somewhere they are actually coached fundamentals, it’s not just kids from Bledsoe. Grundy, Sequatchie, Jasper and even South Pitt will come up as long as this coach is invested in the little league.

If boldin is getting stronger schedules then why didn’t he schedule sequatchie and jasper the next two years instead of a 1 win east ridge team and another cupcake. They talk about owning the valley but won’t schedule all the valley teams. You can’t say since sp beat both teams that whitwell would have also beaten them. Not to say they won’t have on the field but you can’t automatically assume. Besides like guy said in an earlier post, it will be the whitwell/ Bledsoe tigers before long
My understanding Sequatchie is playing the same 1 win East Ridge team. So it’s ok for a 3A school to play a 1 win 4A school but not a 1A with 500 less kids. The AD and now former principal knew exactly what they were doing when schedules were made. Go back to the beginning of the season threads if you want to read more

I would hope any kid would take gold over a voted trophy but when the day comes that 700 yards rushing in a season gets you even mentioned for Mr Football they might as well throw the award out the window, they've already tarnished it enough!
Like said I’d say he will take the results he wasn’t nominated as an offensive player. 170+ total tackles is what I was told at the game yesterday

Hudson Petty would have my vote in 1A, kid is unreal, if he doesn't play vs TC, TC wins by 2+TDs. Had at least 12 tackles, and INT, threw for a TD and ran in the winning score. 2A is loaded with athletes but it really surprises me Heath Price was not a finalist.
unapproved website has him with 25 total tackles against Trousdale
-
Nothing against Marion or Trousdale but if the Jackets don’t mercy rule the Warriors I don’t see you having a chance against Tyner.
-
I bet he has one with Murphy’s pole in it
-
I know comparing scores is one thing and schools have off nights, but Whitwell and Oliver Springs have Bledsoe as a common opponent. OS +4 Whitwell +41. So I could see the top of 1A being 27+ better
-
I didn’t put TC and Trousdale together my bad
-
Is Trousdale not in the top 10 ?

Did Whitwell really put the first team back in the game Friday with less than a minute to go to score and make the final 59-20?
Was told by a friend that Whitwell pulled all starters at half up 47-0. Cannon then threw a reverse pass and onside kick against Whitwells JV. Made the score 47-20. You don’t throw trick plays and stuff when someone calls the dogs off. Maybe Wingo or Stewie know the specifics

Swafford is the only 2A listed. Saw these names on here this week. I believe Swafford and Ashworth have several hundred rushing yards and touchdowns.

Some stats from the Chattanooga Times this morning.
Warner Ashworth 51-71 979 11 TD 1 INT
Aaron Swafford 42-72 959 11 TD 1 INT 96 points scored
Josh Wingo 85 carries 874 9 TD
Hudson Petty 70 solo 34 assists 87 points scored

Almost certain odd travels to even this year.

Cloudland would travel to Greenback in round 3.

Hudson Petty RB/WR/FS Whitwell
& Hanley are the 2 from East Tennessee this year in 1A
1A Championship Cornersville vs Whitwell
in Class 1A & Class 2A

Wow gonna be calling for a revote next. Never heard the excuses in my life. Cornersville played a great game but didn’t capitalize, Whitwell taking the wind in the 2nd and the Cornersville taking it in the 3rd and not 4th made the biggest difference in the game.
