BSF, Rose over Hayward in finals at 160. Rose is good. Don't know if he's that good but we'll see soon. Would love to see Noe vs Knight in finals as well.
-
We already know who is gonna win abt 1/2 of these wgt classes but 32, 60, and 82 look like we will get to see some great matchups in the finals and even the semis as well in the 132lb class.

Thanks Coach, that's what we been waiting on!

I wouldn't be suprised AT ALL to see all 4 of the REG3 A-AA 113 placers medal at the state tourney. This bracket is loaded!!!

You all are probably correct on Palmer being the better wrestler and finishing higher next weekend. The facts you have provided definitely back that up. Cannon has looked dominant in the few matches I have seen him but haven't seen him in tough matches. Palmer is not as flashy as his slightly smaller training partner but almost always does exactly what he needs to do to win and is just so very solid. However, I still think TJ and Bowers will be the finalists. I think they are just at another level than the rest of the field. I watched Garrett handle both Palmer and Noah last year at Dixie Duals as just an 8th grader and no doubt he's improved tremendously with that Cleveland schedule.
113 is loaded this year! Dillon Pendley from TN will also be in the mix there.
Yeah, Palmer got beat by 4 or so to Bowers at Dixie duals but Palmer also beat Bowers 8-0 abt 6 weeks later at the TN Iron man. That being said, they are BOTH OUTSTANDING wrestlers! 113 AAA will DEF be one of the best(if not the best) wgt classes to watch next weekend!!!

I don't know much about the Memphis area, but Moore and Cannon both seem like legitimate picks for OW. As I've stated before, Moore is a beast! He is going to finish high next weekend for sure. Hicks is the only 182 I've personally seen that looks as good as Moore. Can't believe he isn't being talked about as one of the top, but he is definitely going to ruin some kids' weekends next week... And Cannon is dominant as well. Very slick! 113 is pretty loaded, but I see him landing in there right behind TJ and Bowers. He has looked better than Palmer to me... but I have said that about other kids that Palmer has then beaten. So we'll see. 113 is going to be a brawl state wide for sure!
Cockman also impressed me when I saw him at CBHS Duals.
KingGreene, Palmer is probably gonna throw a monkey wrench is everyone's 113 finals bt Bowers and Hicks. If I'm not mistaken, Palmer beat 2 different kids at the Blackhorse that both majored Cannon.

I'm thinking Beech is gonna have the most REG7 Champions and WC will have the most finalists. Either way, I don't see MJ or NW finishing above either of these two teams. I know MJ edged out Beech at region duals but Beech is gonna score some major points in the semis and finals on the front side of the brackets. If MJ is gonna catch Beech, it will be on the back half of the brackets.

Coach Kramer is the ref and I'll pay double for Coach Bray's "famous front row seat".

Clarksville is a very young team right now. They will be better next year and really good the year after. Most of their starting line-up are either freshmen or sophs. Don't know that they will reach the level that 2000 team ( a very special group with several studs) achieved but I do believe you will be hearing more about them soon. Deadlift has done an outstanding job with the youth program there and they will soon be reaping the rewards.

What was with all the forfeits in the Bradley vs Tn.High match? Also what became of Clarksville. They were a pretty dominate team yrs back?

Don't look like I need to make a wager tomorrow on "The Big Game".
-
Page and GB are a combined 3-2 against the East. Mid TN closing the gap just a little bit with both teams placing. Championship and runner up are still gonna be East teams but GB, Page, and Stratford have all fought hard this weekend.
-
I'm gonna go with the Blue Raiders and the Greene Devils in a Blue Tornado!
-
Bump, looks like the "sharps" are gonna wait and make their picks after the matches are over.
-
Possibly yes, especially if no Hux for GV, and I don't think he's wrestled in about 2 weeks from what I can find on track. I think that Arlington/SH will be the best/ closest AAA match in the first rd (forfeits not included in other matchups).
-
I'll feel a little better about my GV pick if Hux wrestles against Hixson. Just think GV has just enough in the middle to offset Hixson down low. No Hux for GV and I may wanna mulligan on that pick. Think that mtchup could be the closest 1st rder of the day.
-
I go first Bump. My 1st rd AAA winners are: TN, Blackman, Heritage, Bradley, Summit, Cleveland, SH, and WC.
A/AA winners: PF, ND, Greeneville, and Greenbrier.
DII Winners are: Baylor, Ryan, McCallie, and CB.
-
I think they are gonna make some of y'all "old skool rasslers" proud.
-
They probably named their town after "My Strut."
-
And I'm learning that the Greenbrier team wrestles hard and "brings it" when they're on the mat.
-
I never heard of Fargo ND. All I know is my good friend Dirty Dutch Mantell and The Fargo Strut.
-
Pretty good name you got for yourself Champ. Kinda curious as to what "Fargo" stands for? Yes,IMO Muday is a better wrestler on his feet than he is on the mat. He's very athletic and quick!
-
Ok,thanks for the info. Him moving def made room for another kid bc he def belonged near the top!
-
Just curious as to what happened with Reichel from RB? He was gonna be near the top of my list as well but I haven't seen anything that has him wrestling at all this season. Thought this was his SR year.

On point meaning health, conditioning or not wrestling well at his region tourney? One could change real fast once he gets on the big stage. The other two likely won't change much in four days.
