Anyone have any news about the Springfield job? Have they interviewed anyone? Is there a frontrunner? Can the new coach bring anybody with them? Anything?

Pittman is not a certified teacher. He would have to get some kind of waiver, and then actually finish his teaching certification. This has kept from moving up to Head Coach anywhere.

Well BigDogDaddy, the new offense at Brentwood featured more of a running game this year than in the past. Thius meant that austen did not throw the ball as much as in the past. His running numbers are pretty good, I would bet. I know last year that Austen threw for 1800+ and ran for 850+. All this as a junior. He can't help that Brentwood is a better running team than they have been in the past. Again, I don't think he has receivers the caliber of those that have left Brentwood. I want a QB on my team that is going to step on the field and make evryone else KNOW they have a chance to win in any situation. Austen is that guy. I happened to see Brentwood/Franklin earlier and I can not say that about Refegee. That is okay, cheer for your boy. I am anxious to see what the coaches decide when it comes to All-Region. To me, coaches see what a kid means to a program, not fans or parents. As for the college scholarship: Bill Whittemore was MR. FOOTBALL and did not get a look (now starting at Kansas, bet MTSU wishes they had him) Matt Henshaw stunk and went to Florida state (noe TE) I guess cocollege coaches like to see 'potential', instead of players.

Those who think Refegee is better than everson are smoking something. i know the majority think that refegee is the reason for Franklin's turnaround. Although he is a staple to the team, the discpline that Coach Johnson has instilled there has had a major impact. Funny how Everson only played running back in the playoffs, yet Mr. Football finalists were announced prior to to playoffs. Austen had played quarterback only up to that point. when it comes to leadership, accountability and toughness - I take Austen over anyone. While Josh may have had an exceptional year, and may pull of a win against Brentwood, there is no doubt Everson is the best QB in Williamson County, if not the best in the state.

It is truly a lack of discipline on both sides of the ball. If Brentwood had been playing a similar type team (classification, school size, etc.), they would have been beat. The Centennial game was almost lost because of stupid penalties. If this isn't worked out, Brentwood is dead in the coming weeks!!! I wonder if it isn't to late!!!
