Well BigDogDaddy,
the new offense at Brentwood featured more of a running game this year than in the past. Thius meant that austen did not throw the ball as much as in the past. His running numbers are pretty good, I would bet.
I know last year that Austen threw for 1800+ and ran for 850+. All this as a junior. He can't help that Brentwood is a better running team than they have been in the past. Again, I don't think he has receivers the caliber of those that have left Brentwood.
I want a QB on my team that is going to step on the field and make evryone else KNOW they have a chance to win in any situation. Austen is that guy. I happened to see Brentwood/Franklin earlier and I can not say that about Refegee.
That is okay, cheer for your boy. I am anxious to see what the coaches decide when it comes to All-Region. To me, coaches see what a kid means to a program, not fans or parents.
As for the college scholarship:
Bill Whittemore was MR. FOOTBALL and did not get a look (now starting at Kansas, bet MTSU wishes they had him)
Matt Henshaw stunk and went to Florida state (noe TE)
I guess cocollege coaches like to see 'potential', instead of players.
