Cope inherited a team that was 11-64 the previous 3 seasons - OMG cheer up anyway its almost softball time, no other school in 8aa cares about that so you will win in that sport.

On the right track, are you serious. The lady tigers have only won 2 games since dec 15. That is 2 months ago and against the weakest 8aa district in 30 years and when Dekalb came to warren last year Robinson, Hedge and Panter all 3 started, and Robinson and Hedge were 8aa all freshman team last season. As far as scheduling Cope didn't make the schedule in his first season ( science hill, Franklin co, ) and I think he took that team to region semi-finals. Dekalb didn't play for over 3 weeks from dec15 until Jan 5. That is unheard of in the middle of a season. If they are on the right track then I want on a different train.

Just an observation.. Looks like Dekalb Lady Tigers are back to their losing ways since the departure of Coach Cope. With the loss to Warren County their record stands at 11-14, their worst record in 7 years. Watching the Lady Tiger/Lady Pioneer game was much like watching paint dry. Absolutely no energy from the Lady Tiger bench. To be honest it was a bore on both sides but Dekalb looked worse than the first time they played their border rival, a game in which they won. Anyone else wanna weigh in with thoughts?! I'll wait..
