If he takes you up on that bet, I'll go in with you for some of the action.
Easy money.

Meigs Tigers will not make it to the semifinals. It will not happen. I guarantee it. If they beat Sequatchie Indians then they will have to beat Giles Bobcats and that will not happen. I guarantee it. Does anyone want to bet me? I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.
I will bet you that you are on drugs, do you want to bet?

Yeah I have heard about her. Y'all have been good a long while. Johnny has done a great job there. How is Alcoa this year?? Any other teams that can challenge you and Gatlinburg Pittman?? South Green?? Meigs??
Meigs will probably be a little down this year, but they should finish second or third in the district with Kingston. And I don’t see anyone challenging Central in the east.

I'm wondering if Giles' coaches will double team Central's #11?
I would say unlikely. Meigs was up 46-14 to start the 4th and I don’t recall us double teaming him, so if Giles is better then Meige, I would say they won’t have to.

Figured you’d root for a valley team, Seq was rooting for Bledsoe. Guess Bledsoe is still butt hurt after Seq beat ya AGAIN
This should be a pretty good game. How are you guys against the run?

Giles 35
Central 14

Should be a tough game.
They beat Bledsoe and Coalfield and I believe both those teams to be pretty good, but I believe Meigs will win if they just play their game and stop with the stupid penalties.

Meigs by 28.
I hope so, I picked you guys against Hampton. Good luck and safe travels, that’s a long ride.

Meigs may not win it all but they are a team no one wants to play. Lots of weapons and well coached. Their competition hasn’t been what maybe some middle and west teams have played so they are a bit of a mystery
Most of the people close to the program thought they had everything to be good, the QB came out last year to play, he’s a senior this year and he has turned into a great player, with some really good receivers to throw to, the senior RB broke both legs has a sophomore and is having a good year, the junior RB is a stud, the new coaching staff has done a great job. I think everyone in the east is trying to get to the semifinals and just give Alcoa a good game.

Sequatchie coming in on a tough win over Tyner 30-26 Meigs coming in on a 50-8 win over Grundy Co. I don’t know anything about Sequatchie, what’s everyone’s thoughts?
-
I believe that Bledsoe finish off Region one in this one.

Not that big of scoring , McMinn squeezed one out. Sequatchie with a tight game. Both #1 teams handled there games as they should
McMinn has a up hill battle next Friday, and the last time Meigs played Sequatchie. Meigs won 35-0 but this is a new year and team so I really don’t know what Sequatchie has besides they put up 17 more points on Tyner than we did, but gave up 20 more than we did. So I don’t know lol

Cant wait til Dresden gets hold of SP
No disrespect to SP because they have a great team and program. But they are several teams in the state that would give them a beating, they are a few in 2A that would give them all they want.

South Pitt would be #1 in almost every classification in the state. Some have them and Bradley Central tied at 1 overall in state. I was more worried about clay playing CP if we won region to tell you the truth. All that talent is dangerous. They put more points on South Pitt than any of their region opponents. Just got out coached in most games. I’m just hoping that Clay can keep it close for a while on this game. It would be like David And The Goliath if they could pull it off Lord Willing.
1A and 2A and that’s it, you really don’t think they would be 1# in 3A and above do you?

1A:
Greenback
Coalfield
SP
Gordonsville
Moore
Mckenzie
Dresden
Mase
2A:
Bledsoe
York
Smith
Marion
Riverside
Milan
Mitchell
Fairley

14-0 Bledsoe. 4 minutes left in 1st quarter
Region 1 is fighting for their lives. Hampton and HV down at the half.

22-8 Meigs. I bet we have 60 yards in penalties. The 15 yard kind. The coaches have done a great job this year except for that

#13 paired with a good qb would be a dynamic duo. #13 is really good for a junior.
He runs hard for sure.

Qb replacement may be an issue? I normally know who's got next but currently I've no clue. Pretty sure 13 returns at RB?
Yes 13 in a junior, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see 5 at QB

Can’t dominate the valley when sp gets kids in from everywhere. Can’t compete with that. Right now seq probably plays 5-6 seniors. Next year they should be somewhat better. Plus a lot of injuries also this year.
I think Meigs plays about 10 seniors. Next year could be a rebuilding year, as you know we have had several good classes in a role, so no one can complain.

Tyner is way down this year, but they always play you guys close
That post was replying to a York fan that said we would be making an early exit for some reason, but I do feel that Tyner has improved a lot since they played you guys, they’ve played a tough schedule and they have some good looking players and if they are as young as everyone says they will be a really good team next season.
Sequatchie Co comes to Meigs
in Class 3A & Class 4A

28-14 Meigs at the half
