Yeah, they beat us 2-1. We seemed to play with no intensity for the first 20 minutes, which is what bit us in the butt. They got an easy goal, and got one later in the game too. I'm not going to make excuses, but I do know that if we played them again, I believe we'd come away with the victory by at least 3 or so. Don't get me wrong, they are a solid team. Not the cleanest, most honest players in the world though. Just don't take them lightly.

Yeah, that is how it stands now, but the unfortunate thing about district standings is that both Hendersonville and Smryna don't play most of their district games until the very end of their schedule. That means the district won't be decided until the last few games. So even though we'll (Mt. Juliet) have all but one of our district games out of the way by Tuesday, everyone will still just have to wait and see how it pans out.

I'm about 6'2" and am one of the biggest, and at least the tallest, on the varsity team at Mt. Juliet. There are about 3 or 4 others that are my size though. We've also got a defender that is probably 5'6", but he doesn't take any crap from bigger guys He is the shortest on the team. A guy from LaVergne seemed to be like 7 ft. though. Kinda tall...

She isn't just a great player, but also an awesome person. Congrats to her. She deserves everything that she received this year, and I hope she does just as well at Belmont. I don't know where Holly is going next year, but good luck to her as well. Congratulations to all the others girls, too!

We should be pretty decent this year. We have tons of seniors (10 of our starting 11 are seniors), so the leadership should be there. We came across a huge set back, losing our coach a few weeks before the season started, but hopefully it won't hurt the season too much. We played Montgomery Central last night and didn't finish at all. A win is a win, but we've got to pick it up before the season really starts up. Smyrna, Gallatin, and Hendersonville are the big teams in our district, with the Clarksville teams waiting for us in region. We've got a tough road ahead of us before we even mention Memphis.

How did the tournament end up? We played in it last year, but unfortunately the Friendship Christian tournament we entered was last weekend too.

You played for Nashville United, huh UT? Means you must not enjoy the game too much. I remember playing your team a few times on my Cobra team (we weren't good, but it was a fun season), and I don't remember seeing a smile on any of your faces except when making a dirty tackle. Hopefully your high school team isn't like that...
