I better jump in before the bandwagon gets full. I am happy for the Powell posters on here.

Cats' freshman class is special. They will be fun to watch over the next few years.
Nole, you are certainly right!
Do you know if JMS/RMS have more talent on the way? OR can always use depth and height.
There is a chance one of our injured senior posts can be back by the end of January.
Have a Merry Christmas and New Years. RWR!

Spiderman is having a hard time getting home. Maybe we can show him the way to the Ship?

Good win tonight for the Cats on the road against a highly talented team in Alcoa. They will win a lot of games this year. Cates is a special special player.
You are right Sweet across the board. Of course, Alcoa is good in most if not all sports.
Alcoa needs a big to come in from the football team. Cates was impressive and is just a junior.
Very proud of the effort tonight by the Wildcats. RWR! I think all the players gave it all they had.

Sarah Burton is a player to keep an eye on. The Clinton Lady Dragon scored 54 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and 6 steals in a victory over Karns. She plays in Class AAA.
I will try to keep up with her.

I can't believe we have missed on the best coach in East Tennessee. This coach has been undefeated for over 50 years at the college level. Hire the HC at Lincoln Memorial University.
-
This probably has nothing to do with anything but somebody said ORHS would be 6A in a year. Would that entice or chase away some coaches?
Just another thought...would OR look at Private School Head Coaches? It seems Middle Tennessee has some former pro players as head coaches. McCallie's head coach is a proven winner. Just thinking out loud.
Santa should still be in the running.

A Great Big Roll Wildcats Roll goes out today to former Oak Ridge Wildcat TOMMY KACZOCHA!
Tommy retired from Professional Football in Finland. He was the defensive MVP on the National Finish Championship team last season.
I saw him play on the Internet three times and Tommy was a fun loving beast. Best of luck Tommy and win in life.

Pieces falling in place with Mullins stepping down as AD today.
What are the pieces you talk about? This opens the door for Gaddis to have an important role in OR athletics as AD.
...but who gets the really big piece of the puzzle? Head Coach? I am going with Whitten from Betsy after the State Titles are won.
-
The noose around the next head coach at Oak Ridge is getting tighter.
My final answer is Coach Witten from Elizabethton to be named after he wins another State Title this week in Chattanooga.
My source...just my gut feeling. Ain't nobody gonna tell me and say keep it quite.

Tweet from David Clary.
Mullins to stay at ORHS as an instructor.

Yeah that's what the Oak Ridge School System needs .... more Administration positions. Sorry we're top heavy with them now!
Yeah, most school systems are.
But it is the Christmas season and I don't want to see people get fired so I tried to find jobs for them. Mullins has given a lot to ORHS and doesn't deserve to be forced out. I never have liked his No Live Streaming of Home games but I understood why he was doing it.
I have a idea about why nobody has been named HC at OR. Everybody is waiting to see who gets the Lenoir City job. Once that is filled every other job will get filled. I am kidding.

Well what do you do with the AD and asst. AD we already have?
The current AD could become the weights and conditioning coach for Middle and High Schools. Maybe there are other Administration positions in the OR School System open? How about this? Minor hires Mullins as a coach at HVA?
Maybe I should shut up? My wife would love that.

Will the games stream over Diamond Clear Media?
Just a guess...no. The TSSAA probably would want too much money for rights to stream Championship games. But check the DCM from time to time.
-
Any new news / rumors on the search.
How about the coach from Permian? The movie or TV coach, it doesn't matter to me. I just want the Oak Ridge MOJO / Swagger back.
Also, Santa is still taking coaching ideas at...TheBigRedWildcatCoach search. I say we sign Santa and have him use his crystal ball to tell us which players from the other teams have been naughty or nice

Actually, only the Saturday games are on their main station, which I get. Thursday-Friday games are on one of their secondary stations, which I don’t get. It’s been that way for years. I pull in the audio through the TSSAA website on Thursday-Friday.
Thanks.
I do subscribe to NFHS through the TSSAA website so you would think I could watch the games there.
This should be a good week for Chattanooga. Last time I checked the weather was going to be okay.

Willie, MYVLT is carrying the games in the Knoxville area. I just clicked on the site and a 7 day free trial button popped up. You might check that.
Thank you.

The TSSAA website says we in Chattanooga can watch the Championship games on WFLI 53.1 CW.
However I don't get that channel on EPB. What gives? I can't go to all the games,

No connection to OR at all, but why on earth would you change one of the most impressive helmets in Tennessee football?
KWoodroof...That is the truest sentence ever composed on CoachT.com. Thank you for the contribution.

This is not going to surprise anybody .....I liked and supported our hometown Head Coach Stanton Stevens.

True, but that senior citizen is a HOF coach with over 300 wins that was returning to Oak Ridge. Won't be hiring Tee anytime soon, he is in pursuit of a gold jacket.
. You don't mess with Tee around here.

HTV,
You and osunut have made me smile today. It is so obvious you two are happy about last night and should be.
I know you have had issues with me especially last season on twitter but you are good folk and deserve to win it all.
Enjoy it all you two.
