I have been holding back on this subject because I am worried people will use this to bash one of our best players. Please, only reply if you have a serious idea.

What the heck can we do to get # 30 going. Has anybody noticed how the four defenses we have played have played against him? # 30 is one of the fastest, toughest, elusive and instinctual runners we have ever had at Oak Ridge. I simply have NO IDEA what is going on! Is blocking the only reason? Move him to WR? Scrap the offense and put  in another one in the middle of the season? This is literally causing me to loose sleep because he is such a great kid and it must be bothering him deeply.

I agree with both froshpop and SweetScience.  Let's keep the players' heads up like froshpop and be honest but not mean in our post like SS.

Lets remember we beat Farragut last season and they went on to win State and the year before that we beat Sevier County and they went to the State finals game.

We are Oak Ridge by God, and we should never give up or get down on the team.

Guys, the players I follow on Twitter are hurting tonight. They feel bad that they let Oak Ridge down and have apologized for the team's play against Farragut. I have told all three to get back to practice, I will always have their back and that they don't need to apologize to the city. They are handling this defeat like warriors and so should we.

I feel bad for the team because they are trying but nothing is going their way. Okay, time to start the OR vs West game tread. I have already forgotten we played a game last night.

BOLD PREDICTION TIME...# 30 runs for 200 + yards in a Spencer Gulmire type performance. Sweet Feet just has too much talent to be shut down all season by high school kids.

Still saying OR by one point but thinking we get butt hurt.

In order to beat Farragut, we must get # 30 going, both # 4 and #12 must get open, no more bad snaps, no TOs and out hustles the more talented Admirals.

Okay, now I must come clean, even though I pick OR to win by one point, I don't believe it. We are about to get an bottom whipping. Gosh, I feel dirty saying that. I pray an entire Rosary that I am wrong. Come on Cats, make me look stupider than usual.

I hope this CCHS stream works, it was off and on Friday night. FYI, Farragut will stream the game against Oak Ridge this Friday.

Personally, I don't think Oak Ridge is that bad but we do have several areas that need improvement. As I said earlier the smart money is on Farragut but I am still predicting a one point Wildcat win.
