  1. Homer time.... Best is Oak Ridge with the train whistle, Wildcat growl, Steps and Banks.

Impartial time.... Sevier County on a Fall crisp night with the Smoky Mountains as a beautiful back drop.

Concession Time....Clinton, years ago had chili dogs freshly steamed and oh so delicious. Chattanooga Tyner has fish sandwiches that you might as well order three before the game. One to eat in the first half, one to eat in the second half and one to eat at home as you watch the local sports coverage of the night's games.

Pregame Meal....Fight the crowd at Big Rd's Pizza in Oak Ridge, across from the football stadium and enjoy a large Special with a mug of ice cold beer.

Wish it had some atmosphere....I live in Chattanooga now and attend a few Hixson games a year. I once feel asleep in the third quarter of a game. Sorry Hixson fans.

Wish I never went there....MTSU's stadium. I had to watch Riverdale bring Oak Ridge's season to an end two years in a row back in the 1990's.

Up Close and Personal....You can't get any closer to the action at Clinton's Dragon Stadium. No track just stands, fence and field.

Great for Dobyns=Bennett.... The home side is nice and big but the visitors side is small like at Ooltewah.

Overlooked....Rhea County has large amounts of seating on both sides.

Absolutely Worst Stadium....UT Knoxville, my butt has to buy two tickets to fit in the allotted space LOL>

5-5?? Shiiii, y'all crazy. I think we will be just fine. May even surprise some folks. We have had 3 .500 or subpar .500 seasons in 25 years, and 2 of those were under Stanton Stevens tutelage. The sky hasn't fallen in just yet, relax fellas.

    +1

  3. KWC...that was an impressive post by you. I can't imagine a school around the  East Tennessee area having numbers like the ones a couple of Memphis teams do. Maryville always has several very talented players then a bunch of players who have bought into their system and are willing to do whatever the coaches ask them to do to better the team. In Chattanooga, Baylor and McCallie usually have at least 5 or 6 but not 15 to 20.

  4. Today was Move in Day at Clemson University. Guess who was first to arrive...that is right, # 5! I can't wait to see Tee in purple and orange on TV.

I have been meaning to post this for a month. Without ever playing a snap of football in the ACC, Tee is rated the #97 best player in the league.
