I will go on record and say that the "home" teams in both Regions should win. The 1's and 2's should prevail however:

Our area is calling for 30%-40% chance of showers on Friday. That particular intangible can make a difference.. especially on the scoreboard!!

I know it’s 2 weeks ahead but as a fan of high school football and a TC fan I have always wanted TC to play Tyner and I have always wanted to see Tyner play with Tyner great tradition and also TC i think this would be first game for both programs against each other

Well, sorry to upset you but i will be there rooting on the Warriors just like you, except i dont have blinders on i guess.  Tell me, how do i put them down all the time and what have i said that is untrue.  I love my son more than anything, but when he does something wrong i dont look the other way like he didnt do anything, he hets in trouble.  I am a realist and some people dont like that.  I think if Marion beats Tc that they will go to Cookeville,  i dont think Tyner can beat them again and i dont think Meigs can beat us.  With our struggles on defense this year i think we will have to get some favorable bounces in that second round game.   If you dont think so then that is your opinion i guess.

I agree with you TC, Tyner and MC 1 of those three teams will beat Meigs and be playing in Cookville

But what if it is a blow out, then what?  I know we have beaten them bad the last couple of years, but it seems to have been fairly competitive until turnovers did them in.

It’s possible for MC to blow out Westmoreland but I have only seen Westmoreland play I haven’t seen MC play it’s simple if MC stops Westmoreland running game then MC should win by double digits but if MC wins as a Trousdale fan we will welcome MC to the creekbank the next week it’s always a great game between TC and MC

Most everyone in the valley knew that Jasper had the best line play last year.  Those guys were 3-4 year starters.  They lost all but maybe 1 on the line and it has shown in tough matchups this season.  However, they still believe they can win and go deep into the playoffs.  If they got consistency from their lineman the latter half of this season, I can see them easily beating TC and Tyner, JMO.  But........the position they miss the most is Kirkendoll and McClain at LB.  They made it very hard to run dive plays and Kirkendoll had  some of the best pursuit angles following the ball down the line of scrimmage.  They do have the skill players to make some noise in the playoffs as long as they can get a lead and keep it.   If it’s a dogfight, they just don’t have enough experience and grit like the past three seasons.  Good luck Jasper

MC will not easily beat TC just like TC won’t easily beat MC their second round matchup will be a dog fight lik it always has been when both teams meet in th playoffs

Agreed! I hope in 2 years that the schedules work out so that these 2 can face-off!

It was always a great game between TC and South Pitt hopefully in 2 years we will have a home and home with South Pitt it’s a way both teams can make lot of $$$$ at the gate the stands would be full

The receivers are pretty good too after the catch. The QB makes that offense go. Meigs defense is well coached and can make some plays too. The one weakness that I seen with them is the kicking game and that is mainly on kickoffs. Also , depth is a question mark. Meigs is young to begin with, but they can not afford many injuries.

Meigs and TC sound a lot alike accept for the depth which TC finally has some depth other than that they are very similar teams young and talented

Trousdale was the obvious pick in preseason, but they are missing their best players. If they get all of them back they will represent. Tyner and Marion County are still factors in a very weak east. It's all about matchups.

All the injured players will be back before the playoffs accept for one that has ACL injury 2 came back past game and another could be back this upcoming week but next week for sure

Went to link and it says not available! I hate this for Whitwell! I was going to watch them next week against Trousdale since we got a off week but I wanted to see them full force!

Trousdale isn’t full strength either lot of injuries at skill positions and especially at RB so neither team will be full force

I think that Friday night will clear up some things. If TCA is in the game late, I'd include them with the top of the class. Meigs Co. is an unknown here in the west, as wells as CA and Trousdale, and I'm not ready to bury Adamsville just yet. If UC dominates TCA, then I believe that either Peabody or the Tornadoes face Waverly to go to the 'ship. Waverly barely squeaking in at #10 is a joke...they will give anyone above them in the poll all they want.

Trousdale has lot of injuries right now at skill positions especially at RB position  TC is done to the 5th string RB and the starting TE from start of the season getting lot of snaps at RB position but all of the injured players should be back before the end of the season accept for one player that has a ACL injury at TC we just trying to get healthy in time for the playoffs and win the region

Hey Tc have y'all figured out yet why we were quiet?? Lots of jackets eating crow now

Lot of jackets fans didn't know that TC was down to the TE playing RB fir most of the game because of injuries but yes we are eating crow and it still taste bad TC will end this losing streak to Macon next year

I have to say I'm surprised. Not necessarily that Macon won but the fact that Trousdale just quit and didn't have the fight in them toward the end of the game. Macon just wore them down. With that being said Trousdale does have some athletes and playing down in 2A they should be fine.

Macon is the second team to do this to TC this year TC had 4 starters out on both sides of the ball but that was just a plain ole fashion a** kicking but at least we get another shot at Macon next year on the creekbank we will see youll in a year good luck if you'll play like that every week the sky is the limit for Macon

  12. He did it to TC again that kid is a great QB he killed TC tonight my hat is off to Macon team and a great game plan they out coached us and played with more heart and for yellow jackets we need this to show them what happens when you don't execute and having 4 starters out at the skill positions doesn't help but isn't a excuse Macon was better team tonight again I will be happy when Carlisle graduates that kid is TC cryptinite he should be playing on Saturdays when he graduates

Macon will get mercy ruled early friday night but TC will dodge teams. Its been years ago now but they didnt want none of goodpasture or david lipscomb back in the day so they went out and created their own region. This is a known fact.

We had Goodpasture in our region a few years ago and NCS, FCS, MJC, And MTC who would want to have region games against private schools yes Clint didn't want to play Goidpasture in other sports besides from football

This will be a good game. Carlisle is a very good player. This is not a region game and both teams need to stay healthy to win their regions. I think the key for this game is whose defense is better.

The key will e can Macon handle the speed of TC ask Westmoreland about the speed of TC
