For many teams in west tn the cost for playing aau is much to expensive. The difference in cost is at least $100 per tournament fee. Plus there is no player fee and you are guarenteed from 3 to 5 games per tournament entered. MAYB is much more cost effective for many teams specially teams from low income areas.

My early vote goes to Tony Tyler #22 for Lake County! He put on a show against Middleton even thought they didn't win. Next, year he has the chance to blow up his highlight reel! Also, LC will be back again only graduating two neither starters. Plus, look out for 24 Channin geanes only a frosh. He will have a coming out party next year! PS his little brother will be a frosk next year. The talent is thick for years to come in b ball for LC WE will make it to the boro in due time!

I have a couple buddies who officiate. They tell me that taunting the officials doesn't help or hurt! Officials seem to block out the crowd, or mostly get amused with the crazies! The officials I know dont let the crowd affect their objectivity to the game. Besides, officials are really concentrating on the game action to hard to notice most of the time. There is so much happening so fast in a ball game letting anything distract them would be the problem. Focus, see the ball, be the ball!

No whine here. Middleton finished! We just got beat. No bad officiationg either! The problem was with the horrendus parking! And the terrible seating situation! It made it hard to enjoy and amazing game where 22 from LC and a middleton player went back and forth at the end of the game trading points and huge plays! Wow what a game was muffled by whoa! the 250 ticket holders were squished into 75 seats The bottom line is that the oversized barn at Middleton needs to be enlarged to accomadate this type of game or it should be moved to a site close to middleton to handle all the logistics. The middleton fans and everone there were terriffic. I just wish that seating would have been better. Of course if we would have won our region we wouldn't have had to deal with it.

Yes Middleton is beatable! LC beat them by one earlier in the year! Amazing, LC has beat two state tourney bound teams Trenton 3 times and middleton once. We just beat them in the wrong games. From what i understand Temple is for real and the odds on favorite! Good Luck Middleton and trenton and all other west tn teams.

I tend to disagree rjm. The game for the most part was officiated pretty well. There were a few calls against us I disagreed with but I saw some that didnt get called on us as well. The same also goes for what was and wasnt called against middleton. Also, we would have won on nuetral or home ground, but that is why they play the region championship game!!!
