What's your opinion of our #7? I'm biased towards him I know but he's a baller to us. We expect big things from him next year.
He’s pretty special. Runs the ball hard and has good vision. Every time I thought we had him down he got another 2 or 3 yards.

Offense hasn't remotely been close to being stopped. We went up 14-0 and then started playing flag football with them.
Yup. Like I said earlier this week. We go up early, lose focus and a good team will punch you in mouth. 2nd half awaits.

Marion is running better than any team has on us all season. We are going to have to figure something out quick. This game is way to interesting right now.

#8 is a freshman and although will be very good, he doesn't play. #9 is a stud. Watch the tape.
And look at the stats.

Ain’t saying Marion world beaters but I believe they can run it on Watertown
I will say this... Marion won’t run it consistently. But if they break a big play, it will be a run and likely up the middle. When H2O loses focus, that is where we lose it for some reason. We have been beat to the edge every now and then, but generally hasn’t been a focus issue, sometimes the other team gets a good play, a guy slips, etc, etc.
If H2O stays focused for all 48 minutes, I think it will be hard for any team to run on this defense.

I’d love to see the reaction from
Hackett if Marion County flipped us off.
Truth.

My question for h2o folks, would you rather see tc or bledsoe next rd? I just know history says you guys struggle with them no matter how bad they are. Personally when we are out I would love to see bledsoe beat meigs in the semis cause some players left there to championship chase.
I’d always rather face the devil I know. TC is our white whale. They use to kill us every time we played. Then we started beating them in the regular season (3 years in a row now) but losing to them in the playoffs. I’d like to meet up with them again and see if we’ve got what it takes to make it to the next level.
Gotta beat Marion first and then pull for our TC brethren over Bledsoe.
That being said, so long as we win, we’ll take who ever is next

Watertown beat Gordonsville by 7. Lost to Nolensville, beat TC by 2. What makes yall on a different level? You might beat Jasper but ain't going to be a mercy rule.
That was the beginning of the year. No practice to speak of, no scrimmages, no jamboree. I know that was true for everyone. But it’s not like we’re running the Wing T. What we run takes timing.
That being said, I don’t think this will be a mercy rule game. -

You should have sent him a picture of our billboard at TC. It’s got more greatness on it.
We see that one every year. We know TC history. That’s why we respect you guys so much. There is nothing like a game at The Creek Bank. Looking for one of those billboards some day at H2O. Gotta earn it first.

This one might be a payback for the 2016 game when you guys came to MC lol. We'll show up and see what happens I guess.
That game is when we learned what it takes to make a serious run at a championship. We’re still not there, but that game was a turning point. You guys stomped us. Sometimes a good beat down is a great lesson .
I went a way so impressed with way MC ran things. From the way the team took the field, to setting of the stadium, to the giant billboard of the team’s accomplishments over the years. I took a picture of that billboard and sent it to my son who was a Sophomore at the time. I said this is greatness looks like. If you want to be remembered, tonight you guys learned what it will take.
Looking forward to the game Friday. Safe travels and thanks for the memory.

And the Westy drama continues. If nothing else at least it’s consistent.
MCfans, safe travels to Watertown. Looking forward to great game.

Total yardage, TC 367 to Tyner 26!
Good Lord. Very impressive.

Gotta pull for our brothers from TC. This game should be a classic.

H2O lost focus towards the end of the 2nd quarter of tonight’s Tellico Plains game. Some what understandable since the were so far ahead. But a good team will take advantage of that sort of thing and put a beat down on you before you can get your focus back. They will need to be completely focused for this game.
If they stay focused and play to their ability, I feel good about the outcome. Win by 1, win by 40, I don’t care. Just win baby.

From an old timer like myself.. I think it sounds great that were even able to call it a rivalry. It used to be an ole fashioned beat down!
We’ve come a long way for sure!
Yes. I remember sitting in the rain watching TC beat up a pulp 56-0. Maybe we scored that game.... but it didn’t seem like it.

My Thoughts on the new
Class 2A
Biggest winner:
Cascade
Oneida
Westview
I thought the same thing about Cascade. This move gives them a chance to get a few more wins and start to build from there.

Agreed. I thought for sure H2O would be moving up. Good to see that we’ll be battling TC for the region for the foreseeable future.

For me this is the most interesting match up in week one. Would love to see Westy win this one, gotta cheer for the boys from our region. Plus, they’re the devil we know.

Thank you for your thoughts my friend. Some interesting points and Much appreciated. TN.Gov is where the mandate can be found. It is Executive Order#54 #3 viii. I would encourage reading the whole executive order for anyone interested. Have a great weekend and thanks again.
Reading....? yuk.

Like Peabody hasn’t had an easy enough season, they get a first round bye. It’s good to be the king!

Question? Have you or anyone else reading this actually read the official TN mandate issued by the Gov of TN from March regarding the Mask? Can anyone please show me where it is an actual binding law? Or does it say encouraged and recommend?
I’m not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night... I don’t think there has to be a law. The TSSAA is a governing body and can make rules/regulations/requirements as they see fit. There likely is no law stating that players must wear helmets, but the TSSAA requires it. There likely is no law that states fans can’t yell foul language directed at the teams or the refs, but the TSSAA forbids it (not that I would know anything about that ).
One man’s opinion, I could be wrong.
Marion CO travels to H2O

#3 is the best pound for pound player I’ve seen in many years. He makes runs that defy explanation. #7 usually isn’t like that... well not as pronounced as it was tonight. I think he was just particularly hyped tonight. Cost us 15 yards at one point. He’s a good kid, he’ll learn.
