Any chance the Eagles get their first win at home against the Owls? I think they have improved quite a bit these first two weeks. I'm thinking Eagles by two td's. What say you? As always..........GO EAGLES!

This loss falls squarely on the coach's shoulders. They should have let them score when they were in the red zone with over 3 minutes left. I would bet that there wasn't a person in the place that thought the Eagles could hold them. Put your faith in our offence that shoved them around all night but needed time to be run correctly. Not 45 seconds. Way to go coach. Put our tired defense against one of the most high powered offences in the state late in the game for the win. Ok............that's my rant....................GO EAGLES!! Proud of you boys.

Afraid this will be another tough one for our young Eagles. Just need to improve every game and build toward next year. As always GO EAGLES!

Wow...... Disappointed to hear of Rhea County's O Line struggles this year. All that fire power in the backfield and nobody to block. Defense has always been a question mark but we could always score points. Let's hope in these few early games that "iron sharpens iron" and we get this team straightened out. GO EAGLES!

Has our QB ever attended a passing camp of any kind? In my opinion the use of a few short passes to the tight end would work wonders toward keeping teams from stacking the box. Just my thoughts GO EAGLES

Maybe we can add another OL..............we don't need a tight end.

Being new here to the Tn area I'm not to familiar with the inside doings of high school sports here but is Meigs county actively recruiting our kids away from us? I keep hearing about Rhea kids playing for Meigs and now another one.

How bout the young man (running back) who transferred in from Florida last fall?

I have lived here for 6 years and this was quite simply the worst coached Rhea County game I have seen. This one is purely on the coach. I feel sorry for our young men as this game could have been theirs for the taking. Our passing game was a non factor the entire game so, after a great run by Simon to get to the 32 with 54 seconds left...........lets take the ball out of his hands and throw to the end-zone...............oops, interception......game over. Just my opinion.

Yes they do. Good thing cause I'll have to be streaming this game from Myrtle Beach. Hopefully they make it to round two.

I believe that if Rhea County is willing to roll out and throw the ball just a few times to keep West from stacking the box they will win...........GO EAGLES!

Great job Eagles win 38-35. I believe the refs sure tried to keep it close. I would like to know how many penalties Rhea County had.

If the Eagles play tight on Soddy's receivers they will win. Our ground game will control the clock and score enough to win. GO EAGLES!
