I believe this is correct. At a glance at Friday night's score, one would wonder what is going on with Haywood. Keep in mind that they were without their starting QB as well as #2 QB Friday night. Not to mention their QB from last year has transferred. So in a way, they were playing with the #4 QB. I would say this is odd for the 1st game of the season. I do however believe that this year's Haywood squad is not going to be the same as the past several years. 

Haywood was forced to run wildcat the whole game due to being without their QBs week one. Outside of the two kick returns the game was 28-7. The defense played 31 snaps

Both Qbs were out Haywood allowed two Kickoff returns. Other than that it was a 28-7 game.

The lost of him definitely is a factor. I do think the tomcats will be fine.

The QB did, running back still there.

Haywood had to settle down. Varsity wise i think Dyer had 4 to Haywood’s three. Haywood had a few long runs called back. They’ll be fine once the season starts

No scrimmages just a jamboree at home against Northside like y’all are doing against union city

I tend to agree if he has won a title even at a smaller level than how much more would he do with much more talent. That might be a problem for the East. Last year the lack of defense for Haywood most likely sent them home against Pearl. 

Was never really battle tested until the Pearl game. It’s tough, especially when ur comes to scheduling bc a lot of teams don’t wanna play us. Getting Oakland this year was a blessing

Regardless the class imo, winning a title is no easy feat. I think he’ll be fine

That’s yet to be determined, from what i heat he’s a player coach and innovative.

Haywood returns its front 7, and both RBs from last year. A rising sophmore at DB/Corner that can flat out ball. Also a freshman that’ll get some clock at WR. Ppl will hear his name real soon
