  1. Definitely understand where you're coming from. But lets keep things in perspective....it's week 6! Every team either has a injury or has a key player hampered by nagging pain. With all of the depth they have it's time for the others to step up. All and all... the tough schedule will benefit the team. The last 3 or for games is all that matters.
  2. I see where you're coming from. Lausanne has A P5 (Michigan) running back on their roster as well as multiple D1(FBS/FCS) guys. Playing them has become a rivalry of sorts. I understand why it was a competitive game. But based on talent alone... it shouldn't have been close. South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Ohio State, Tennessee (didn't play) , not to mention the guys with the P6 offers (multiple) and FCS offers. North Little Rocks best offer/ commit is Memphis. The other is going to North Texas. They are obviously doing something right to be ranked as high as they are though. At the end of the day, the haven won't see another team with the talent they have on their squad, and that's without the injured players. No need to make excuses with that talent. I think it's more about the chemistry as opposed to the loss of players. At the end of the day it's about the JImmys and the Joes and "the haven" has plenty.
  3. I've heard the "not having our guy" reason/excuse a couple of times since the young man was injured. But honestly, when he was playing Ridgeway was still in that game. When you have so many D1/P5 guys on a team and you're playing teams with maybe 1 or 2 D1 kids, and in some cases none, should it really make that much of a difference?

They held off a tough Desoto Central (Ms) team Friday. Feel Free to comment!
  6. Gtown plays Douglas Friday. They are down this season. It's Homecoming if I'm not mistaken. Should be a W. Good luck Friday.
  7. Never been to a game in Paris, but I've heard about the atmosphere. I know several people who were in attendance last year when Brighton came in there and pulled off a big win. If Germantown can go into Whitehaven Stadium and win (last season), they can definitely pull it off in Paris. Germantown travels well. Trust me, both sides will have lots of red. Can't wait for this game!
  8. Trust me Germantown is legit. Defense A+ Offense A Kicking Game A- Total package....

  11. Cool..You do know Houston beat Arlington a couple of weeks ago at Arlington, right ? Central wins- Melrose, East, Mitchell
  12. Cool. Contemplated Central at # 10.Don't think they've had real test all season. Opened my eyes a little with the Mitchell win however. Kirby has played in a couple good games. Tough road loss.
  13. Will do...Anyone who has thoughts, feel free to share them.
  14. I'm sure there are plenty who disagree. We'll see how it all plays out though.
  15. 1. A Lausanne- Defeated a good team in Whitehaven. Should have sealed the game in 4th qtr..... fumble on the 2 by RB with seconds left. State champs. Opp. team record 6-5 1.B Germantown- Defeated Collierville 42- 2. Collierville held under 50 total yards for the game. Opposing teams record 8-8. Averaging 46 per game allowing 11 per game. 3. MUS- Beat a heckuva team in MBA on Friday at their house. Good football team. Opp. Teams records 3-9. 4. Briarcrest- Beat a Good Haywood County team Friday. Tough win at home. Opp. Team record 9-7. 5. Whitehaven- Lost to Lausanne on Friday. Great effort in the loss. Fought like they always do. Very tough team. Heck of a run game. Opp. team record 9-6. Missing key LB. 6. Covington- They just run all over you. 3 guys that can take it to the house. QB is throwing it this year. Tough, tough, tough. Opp.team record 8-8 7. Houston- Defeated Bolton on Friday. RB is a gamer. Might not lose another game. Cordova biggest test left. Opp. Team record 8-8. 8. Christian Brothers- Good win over Kipp Friday. Still need to see more, have the pieces in place. Opp. team record 5-9. 9. Kirby- lost a tough one to Olive Branch, Ms. Great QB and RB. Will challenge for Region. Will be tough in playoffs. Opp.team record 7-9. 10. Arlington - Defeated Southwind on Friday. Run game will be key going forward. QB throws when necessary. Good WR. Opp. Team record. 10- 6.
  16. Tyler Moore - Harding Academy is a beast. He is just as good as Sneed. Go check him out. Elusive, strong, great hands. Not the tallest, but a good back. He has no help over there though. Not sure what Rosa Fort had.
  17. Thursday 1.Wooddale 2. Fairley Friday 1. Lausanne 2. Arlington 3. MAHS 4. Briarcrest 5. Covington 6. Germantown 7. ECS 8.Fayette Ware 9. Munford 10. MBA 11. Bolivar 12. Magnolia Heights 13. Dyersburg 14. White Station 15. Mitchell 16. Olive Branch 17. Martin Westview 18. Lake County 19. Pulaski 20. Lexington 21. Raleigh Egypt
  18. Not trolling at all. I've seen all of these teams play. Trust me. Who have you seen play out of the teams? Besides Whitehaven(in your opinion) where am I wrong? This is thru week 4.
  19. That's the best team in the area you guys have played. I agree you guys will be one of the best. Potentially....
  20. I won't bet against them. Great Coach and tons of talent. Cordova isn't that good though. I may be wrong...we'll see.
  21. 1. Lausanne (State Champs respect) 2. Germantown ( Defending 8 6a champs, tons of talent at RB. Great QB WR duo. Defense relentless) 3. Briarcrest Christian (maybe best QB in region. RB +, D line +) 4. MUS (just overall good team. Howard is a beast. Well coached) 5. Kirby (one of the best at QB. RB+) 6.Whitehaven (only because of the p5 talent they have. Potential thru the roof could be top 3 by end of season) 7. Covington ( Flexbone/wishbone kings...tough team to beat) 7. ECS ( one of the best RB nobody knows about.) 9. Houston ( Two of the best RB in the region. One a Lil gimpy right now. Formidable duo.) 10. Christian Brothers ( Got the pieces, just have to put it together) Thoughts...top 7/8 are undefeated.
