You left out the part where #5 gator rolled #1 trying to break his leg. #0 got him off by pushing him. I’ve never seen a town or football team in such Denial. I’m sure there is some fine people in Jamestown but a few is ruining that. The things I saw in FB over the weekend explains it all. Unbelievable. Go get your lay ups and free throws in.

No, I agree, the twisting should have been flagged as well. But just like the other poster above said, there were several things ER did like trying to stomp a kid's head, that should have been flagged as well. I am just sick of getting on here to read things about this week's state championship game and this thread keeps coming up.

Call it what you will, I saw the conduct of these kids several weeks back, I predicted this game would come to a brawl, how in the heck did I figure that one out. Just lucky it wasn't a lot worse. Late hit artists that taunt other players and teams. If this was a one time thing I could understand, Problem is it was week after week. Played 12 teams this year and this is the only bunch I've called out. Its a SPADE

Tell me, when was it that you first saw that conduct? I'd like to go back and watch it. Was I right? Was it when they ran that last touchdown in at Oneida?

Shoot 8 15 yarders in the 1st half. A lot of teams don't have that in a year.

Both teams had six 15-yard penalties. That does not count the off-setting penalties for the fist altercation in the middle of the field or on the sideline (where the coach supposedly put their hands on a York player). This flag on the sideline was uncalled for. The line judge where the tackle happened did not throw the flag it was the side judge that was 15 yards down the field who threw the flag. Legal hit in bounds and they got jumped on the sideline by ER. The fight where fists were thrown was players defending their fellow players (not saying that was legal or right so don't call me classless) but #0 for ER did the same thing and wasn't penalized or thrown out for it. End of the day, the penalty count was even. York had two PF and ejections in the fight and ER only had one but should have been two with the body slam by 0 of ER. So if we are going to call a spade a spade let's do it right. York plays hard nose D and flies to the football...the old saying is "Hit you in the mouth and take your lunch money," but I guess everybody eats free and reduced lunch nowadays.

We will see how ER responds when they get punched in the mouth over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. ER has never seen the run through a trucker face offense….. and over

They will say you are classless and say you are out to hurt their running back because you hit him below the knees…..same thing they said last week

I have had two sons play for York and both played with the majority of this coaching staff. This staff would go to war for these kids and the kids before them. Just like you’re proud of your coaches that turn and yell in the stands at their own fans. (Yeah I head about that.) I am proud of ours.  I can promise you our coaching staff doesn’t condone what happened to night.   And I have heard them preach it.  When you say you HATE a program it’s kids, coaches and fanbase.

Yeah @crow and his boyfriend @pujo have had it out against York ever since York scored that last TD at Oneida.

Watch the Game then get back to us!! Don’t think you know a lot about York

Yes, York is the type of football team that plays to the whistle and will hit you in the mouth. I get it people don’t like to get hit in the mouth, so let’s pull out the flags and just play flag football. York lost their composure tonight in the second tussle, but the first go around was totally uncalled for and ER should be held accountable. #48 made a clean tackle on 1 on their sideline and they didn’t like it cause again he got hit in the mouth. Proud of the York Dragons on a 13-1 season…best in school history.

And don’t put all of Hampton on me. This is me, Autumn Stover only. I don’t represent Hampton. I’m no spokeswoman for this town, school or football team. These are my opinions only. I speak for no one but myself. If you think I’m rude, a sore loser, or whatever else y’all have called me, please don’t see my fellow community members that way. I’m just one lady who wanted better for her kid than to get beat by a bunch of lucky, cocky brats and their daddies who want to live through their kids by telling them they’re all that. I’ve never even commented here until this game. I just wanted to get under y’all’s skin. I knew I could. And I have so badly. I hope it itches.

Can you please tell the crowd which daddies and which brats you’re talking about? Football is a physical sport, with penalties, injuries, and turnovers. Someone gets hurt it’s the next man up…..it’s part of the sport for every team in the world. Football is kind of like life you get knocked down you gonna get back up or lay there. If you get beat accept it and move on don’t talk down the team that was better. These are 14-18 year old kids from york that showed up in June and went to work. We have no advantage over any other team in the state. Just strap on your helmet and dominate the guy in front of you….that’s it. No excuses…grow up and accept responsibility nobody lost or won that game but the players on the field. Goodnight and God bless

No it hasn't always been York over Clarkrange if I understand your comment correctly. There are years that YAI has the talent and ability to advance deep and some years it has been Clarkrange.  When you have two very storied and traditional teams in the same small county you can almost guarantee that there will be years the players end up on the North end of the county vs the South end of county and vice versa.

With one county having two "storied programs" isn't it sad they still won't play each other because of something that happened sixty years ago? I heard a rumor that YAI reached out to Clarkrange to play and Clarkrange declined.

There is a reason Wright took York back over for the 4th time.  He did the same thing in 2017 and they had a great 2 year run.  They are loaded.  I do think Rockwood is the team to beat however.  It will be interesting to see how York plays on the road this week against Oneida.  They didn't fair to well the only other time they have been on the road this year at Bledsoe County.

York played with Bledsoe. I believe halfway through the 4th it was 21-14 and York had 5 turnovers. I don't think the outcome today would be the same as it was four weeks ago. I believe Rockwood can beat Monterey if they are as physical as people say. Don't get "too physical" on Monterey or they'll submit the film to the big dogs.

Any input on this game? York has injuries. I don't know for sure if the QB is out but I heard at the end of their Grace game that he may have a broken collar bone, but they weren't sure. The best game I ever saw was there years ago in a playoff, where York led most of the game but Smith Co. went ahead late. With less than two minutes to go, York was on the 8, Brian Reynolds completed a pass to Tyrell Asberry who raced down the sideline to score. They went for two and completed a pass. They then held off Smith County in the last minute for the win. The atmosphere is terrific at Smith County.

I think it was actually Anthony Williams that scored the TD and 2 point conversion. But you're right one of the greatest games I have ever witnessed. I'm pretty sure York had two forward passes or at least an ineligible receiver downfield on that two point conversion. There were several years in a row that this gamed decided who was 1st and who was 2nd in the district. Despite the records I hope this one lives up to the historical atmosphere.

Oh my, You are absolutely nuts. Greenfield had a 20 pt better team this year than last year and Greenfield embarrased Clark Range at the state tournament last year. It could have been a 50 pt game if Greenfield had not called the dogs off

Anybody that kept up with girls basketball over the last 50 years will tell you The 2020 Gold Ball belonged to Greenfield. That could be the best team ever to come out of Class A.

Now next year could be and should be Clark Range’s year but Loretto may have something to say about that.

I'll agree to disagree. 08-09 Clarkrange team would beat 2020 Green Field (that's actually orange) by 50 in reverse, blindfolded, with the CoronaVirus.

So much for Clark Range being unbeatable and the favorite.  Stone Mountain (4-3) is an average AAA team and they blow out Clark Range.  Arlington with 2 Division 1 players is a much better AAA team and they barely beat Greenfield by 2.  We may have 4 or 5 losses this season but nobody in Class A will play a tougher schedule than Greenfield.

Well according to our very own coachT.com "Green Field" has a schedule rank of 30 while Clarkrange has a schedule rank of 23. So this statement would be invalid. :roflol:

You’re a homer. And probably never played a game.  How many bad calls does it take to change a game?  You think Pickett hitting 10 more free throws would have changed anything?  Once Clarkrange is up 15 or 20, they can coast.   Clarkrange  two post players were in the offensive lane so long tonight, that the bottom of their shoes are yellow.  On one trip down floor, I counted 12 seconds. The girl never left the lane the entire trip, until she scored.   The starting post player should have fouled out with 4 minutes gone in the first quarter. And I lost count of illegal picks after 30.   So, to say enough said, is a bit over the top. Over the last forty years, I’ve seen many games there, none were fair

No I’m not a Homer and yes I actually did play four years and not five like most PC players and yes 10 made free throws would have made a difference because PC would have only lost by 27 not 37. Also I didn’t hear any protest from the fans of Pickett on hardly any calls so I guess the real question is were you even at the game?......Have to give credit where credit is due my friend I’m not trying to fuel the fire I’m just stating the obvious. Hope everybody had a safe trip back to bobcat country. Good night and go Dragons
