I did not see this thread before creating my own. My apologies, and thanks @workinprogress
I think the Hawks prevail in this one in front of a packed house. This is a testament game IMO. I have hear the GC starting QB is out this week with staff infection. Not sure if he will be there friday, which most likely won't affect their ground and pound offense. From digging in the grapevine, GC can't throw it in the river. I like the Hawks by 7+.
Sounds like you've got GC all figured out huh.... We shall see Friday night GO BOBCATS !!

Last home game of the season for Green Hills and they’re on an impressive two game winning streak. Win or lose it’s been a good season for the first year program and things are trending upwards more quickly than many anticipated.
Bobcats are coming off a tough hard fought loss to a really good Marshall Co team but are playing good right now . Weather is supposed to be cool Friday ,should be a good one . Are tickets sold at gate or online ? Go BOBCATS!!!

Appreciate it! See you in seven days. Should be a great game. I just hope we give you a better game than last year.
Not a MC fan but good luck to your team ... they just handled my Bobcats tonight ... they have some athletes

I’ve asked on other threads, but just to clarify I’ll ask the MC fans. Tickets are sold at the gate, correct? We don’t have to purchase on the GoFan app do we?
Yes you pay at the gate

BREAKING: Metro Nashville Public Schools Director of Schools Adrienne Battle Announces that Metro Nashville can play football next Friday, September 25...
We got the green light to go!! ALL GAS
Pc vs Hillsboro at PC
I believe with all these emails from Coopers office surfacing that yall have been royally screwed over . Those kids should have been playing the whole time . It sucks when politics gets in the way of whats right .

Should be a close game. I give the Nod to Marshall County because of home field.
is Marshall selling tickets early or can you pay like normal ?

I dont expect nothing less than the usual hard fought battle between these two teams . Giles is young but fast and Marshall is big and physical . Giles didnt look very good at all against Lincoln with all the turnovers but looked good against Columbia Central . Marshall had a tough go with Tullahoma and took care of Shelbyville . Should be a good one as always . GO BOBCATS !!!!

At this current moment you guys are out only away outside of metro game. I’m still mad I didn’t get to come when the game got moved to Saturday morning some years back. I heard it’s on of the best looking stadiums around.
What do you mean we are out ? Can y’all not play outside of metro ?

Kinda knew this information would come out soon or later. It’s looking like Metro will have no parents/fans/bands in the stands. The Metro Health dept and Mayor both had said 2 parents per student but I guess Mnps made their own rules which I can’t be mad. I’m glad the kids will have some kid of a season.
PC plays Giles at Giles Co so if everything works out and yall get to play come on down and we'll hang out at the BrickYard !!

Pick up our schedule on 25th. Lucky for us we scheduled alot of metro teams last year. Only team we have to worry about on our schedule is independence and Giles, which Giles is a region game. I'm not sure yet if indy dropped us or not.
So what about the region games that were missed ? Will those be made up ?

I feel like metro will start on September 25 no later than October 2. I have no inside info just a feeling I have. With coaches drawing up a plan and the parents/media applying pressure, it'll happen for metro kids.
i hope your right but school director would have to backtrack on the Oct 11 virtual classes wouldn't she ?

This is terrible ... Prayers for the family

Why did Giles Co not hold up their end of the handshake with Gallatin since y’all have so many open dates?
idk anything about that because i'm just a parent and haven't heard any schools mentioned yet that we are going to play but im sure we will soon

It's not over just yet!! I know you are probably hoping metro done, so Giles would win the region!!
Giles Co doesn't want anything given to them like that . This whole situation sucks for every Metro team but it also sucks for Giles Co . After tonight ,unless coach gets us more teams to play , we don't have another game until Sept 25th and only 3 in October and that sucks for our seniors . Again it REALLY sucks for the metro teams but trust me we had rather try and run the gauntlet of Region 5 3A , in my opinion one of,if not the toughest region in high school football in the state .Playing teams like PC, EAST , Stratford and the rest is what makes us better . Maybe the powers that run Nashville will get things figured out and Metro can play . Doesn't look good but maybe......

I was listening and he just really put it all on the school board like he didn’t have some kind of say so. Also buck from NPA tweeted last night saying that the shut down was basically a rumor “We all knew” that started from a few metro head coach’s and Principals who DONT want to play. It’s about 3 programs who has had about 8-15 kids showing up since the summer til now I’ll bet my last few dollars it’s coming from them.
so can teams still hold practices now ? this sucks and i hate it for yalls kids and everyone involved .

According to wkrn.com the Metro Heath Dept recommends no sporting events until kids can go to school in person .

Not going off rumors and hopefully we play but I know one thing. If these private schools in Nashville that these so-called politicians kids go to and play for get to play it’s going to get real.
i hope yall get to play 26
