  1. Heard it every week on here in the play-offs. Greeneville is a great football team, but Springfield like the under dog roll
  2. New week Greeneville is a great football team. Springfield will have a tall task, but they've been playing David vs Goliath all year.....
  3. Springfield's best defense tonight, is going to be there offense. If they can average 4-5 yards on every play, control the clock, do better in the red zone, protect the ball, and limit Haywood's offense time on the field, they will have a good chance at winning. If Springfield gets behind or tries to boat race with them, I don't think it ends well for the Jackets. Springfield has the speed and athleticism to play with Haywood, it all comes down to how the Jackets respond to the holiday week and all the hype that surrounds a home semi-final game. Safe travels to Haywood and as always GO JACKETS!
  4. I agree 100%, for both teams, you don't have to be "perfect". You need to be able to replicate your best game or close to your best game every Friday night in the playoffs. I don't know about Haywood, but I don't think Springfield has done this yet. It doesn't mean they can't or won't. If Springfield cleans up the turnover mess they've had the past two games and convert more of the red zone trips to points it's going to be a heck of a semi-final showdown!
  5. I love it when we are the under dog, been this way they whole playoffs, apperantly West Tennesseans are the only people who play good football.....
  6. Here we go again with common opponent score comparison, NONE of that matters. Haywood is very a good ball team no doubt, but everyone this time of year is a tough out for anyone. Both teams will have to play there best game to come out with the win, not just relying on our team beat said team by x amount of points so that means we should win the game.
  7. So I guess Springfield should just call it a season then, is what you're inferring. Well sorry to inform you hoss but they ain't playing in West Tennessee, y'all got to come east of the river this round. Go Jackets!
  8. This game is going to comedown to fundamental football, who can block and tackle the best. JSS has 2 very physical backs that run north and south well and have some lateral speed, but can be stopped in the back field if you wrap them up.WH had oppurnities last week, but didn't do this very well. JSS's d-line is quick and has gotten good penetration from what I've seen on film, so the o-line is going to have there work cut out. If the Jackets can stay the course and play sound fundamental football, they should get the win. Just my .02
  9. If it is you can go to the coach t score page on game night and look for the green play icon on the right of the game score box. If it's broadcasted it will have an icon if not then it's not carried. During the WH and JSS game no one carried it, but since it's a home game for JSS I don't know if it will be or not.
  10. 1994 was the last semi-final appearance, they haven't host a semi since 91I believe.
