Looked like Drew was gonna win another close one but Cordero showed great resiliency with that takedown in the final seconds. I look forward to a potential Round 4 in the finals next week.

I agree both are great wrestlers.  Workman seemed big muscle wise.

  2. I honestly doubt anyone truly believes including Cleveland coaches or wrestlers that this match will be one sided.  If I run through the matches and give pin to Little, major to Posey, Pin by Desselle and give Leach a regular decision win over Cy and drop down Lucas to a regular decision to account for Summit's new wrestler I'm coming out with Cleveland 43 to 22.

I'm just waiting for all the Cleveland people to start whining about how Big Bad Baylor is ranked ahead of them.  Cleveland works so much harder than everyone else so they should obviously be ranked #1, right?

I guess we didn't get this out of our systems on the last poll so lets talk about it on this poll too, so it can be 8 pages long of more of the same.

Yeah, thats it and thats the only reason. No other coaches care about their programs as much as Cleveland.

    No other rea$son$ at all.

Number one I said a lot of it boiled down to their feeder system.  Also if it were about money don't you think that a lot of areas of Middle TN such as Franklin and Brentwood and other areas would just be setting the world on fire?  There are a lot of areas in TN that have much more wealth than Cleveland and Bradley.  Look at the private schools Cleveland wrestles most all of them have huge benefactors but other than Baylor, who usually challenges Cleveland year in and year out?  Everyone wants a reason other than what it is. But you can of course think what you want.

    Totally agree.

There is $omething different about wre$tling in Chattanooga. I cant quite put my finger on what it i$ though.

The difference is the feeder program and what all of the coaches put into the program.  By the time they get to middle school, quite a few of those kids have been wrestling and traveling for a good while.  The kids put in long long hours but the coaches make them passionate about it and the kids hold each other accountable.

Blackman ranked above Summit?  I don't know if I agree with that one.

After watching both recently, I would agree that Summit would take out Blackman.  But it's hard to tell how teams will match up against each other until they go head to head.

The bottom bracket will have Wilson, Bradley and Summit. I’m going to go out on a limb and say Bradley and Summit will wrestle first match.

Wasn’t summit in Cleveland’s side of the bracket last year?

Here are the ranked wrestlers in each weight class and division according to Pin-Tn heading into this weekends Johnny Drennan Inv. These are just the TN kids too. Lots of other states coming and you know they'll have studs with them. 285 is going to be particularly interesting as all 3 divisions will have their number 1 ranked heavyweight on the mat.

Why did they not wrestle at the Ironman Tournament after being told would?  I looked for them only to be stunned that they wrestled against Ryan on Friday night and the Cleveland Duals on Saturday.  No problem with them wrestling for their team; however, have a problem with being told one thing and it does not happen.  Just sayin'.

Cleveland's HWT just signed with Cornell.  I have no idea, but maybe he decided that he had already committed and decided that he would rather spend his time his senior season wrestling with his team instead of at an individual tournament.  But I'm not sure why it would matter to anyone on this board why he chose what he chose.
