It’s a good thing Cleveland did recruit the Williams sisters, specifically Bella because fellow new recruit Caroline Hilton might have been the only state champion this year.
So you are saying Piper Fowler wouldn’t be a state champion?

Sorry, new guy here…. Can someone explain to me. If “Johnny” is wrestling at a particular school for four years, how is it that they were “recruited”??
They weren’t recruited. This is brought up every year when Cleveland runs the table.

This is the best response so far. It’s at least an attempt at humor and not filled with delusions of Cleveland organic success.
I was being serious

You’re joking right? Are you blind to the blatant acts of recruiting or do you choice ignorance in this situation because you are part of the problem?
I’m guessing 360 needs a participation trophy, a hug and the warm kitty song to make him feel better.

They choose that opportunity after being recruited to have that opportunity.
Delusional is to probably train and run your team the same way you have been and expect a different result.
-
When you see that your kid can train with hammers every day in practice and you want your kid to have that opportunity than some choose that.

What place would Cleveland get at the Team State Duals if they didn’t recruit athletes and utilized only athletes organically zoned for their high school?
Since TSSAA won’t hold them accountable, let’s just imagine a situation where they weren’t cheating the system to win.
Would they beat Bradley Central? Summit? DB? Would they even qualify?
My guess is the boys team would be slightly above average team on the cusp of qualifying each year and the girls team would be an irrelevant non-contender.
Cleveland doesn’t recruit any kid. Most come from seeing our kids and coaches at tournaments and seeing the success they have as well as coming to the camps and seeing the coaching. Everyone on here first said the success was from all the money rolling in and now it’s they are successful from all the recruiting they do. If people invested as much in their kids programs as they did hating Cleveland they might actually be good.

Summit vs Dobyns - DOBYNS!!!!
The streak is over!!! Dobyns Bennett Shocks The World!!!!
Joe Kemmerer and Nahshon Garrett both re-emerge to celebrate with the former Hammer and Kingsman kids that made this happen as a tribe of proud Indian Warriors dance a celebratory dance with the Chief blessing the ceremony. In the distance an eagle carrying a maroon and silver DB flag soars over the Ag Center letting out a screech of Freedom and Cleveland crumbles off of the face of the map, never to be heard from again!!!
Mark it in the dirt! It’s going DOWN!!!
The real question is how did DB make the state tournament

Is Wilson Central rebuilding? It's weird not seeing them at state.

The Bradley vs Summit match will probably be a good one. It went to criteria at the Cleveland Duals I believe.

With as many kids as Cleveland has in the room, do they not have someone that could go at 144lb so they don’t have to give up a FF. I don’t care if the kid is good or bad, I just hate to see a forfeit
They do, I assume they had to forfeit the weight due to how they were bumping around.

But just like Cleveland not all of those teams are full strength. So not impossible. I mean Wyoming Sem is missing a number 1 seed with Desmond. Malvern 13, Lake Highland 12, Wyoming sem with 10, Mccort with 12. So I mean maybe if Cleveland took 14 they might have, but missing High doesn’t help and I think they ended up with only 11.
No I get it that not all teams are at full strength buy teams like Wyoming and Malvern Etc have kids coming from all over the country.
-
If you look at who is in the tournament it was almost impossible to finish top 5 regardless. Malvern Prep, Wyoming Seminary, Bishop McCort, DelBarton, Lake Highland Prep, etc.

Does McCallie and Cleveland wrestle in a dual this season?
I thought I heard that they were wrestling in January but could be wrong on that.

Kellan green? 🤣 isn’t he in the 6th grade?
Sorry I mean Kellen Sanders

I could be wrong but I think Cordero will be the 106 if I were to guess and is crazy not to be listed. I can't wait to see Maddux wrestle at the high school level. He will be a stud as well. Who will Cleveland send out at 120. What weight does Kellen Sanders go?
