Give PF 2 more years, no matter what class teams are in nobody will be calling them a joke. Was it a joke when Cleveland was the small school duals champion?

Not to mention this is a A/AA thread. Looks like there's 2 foose's who don't have a clue.

I think you have a troll or two on your hands and is just trying to get people fired up. Don’t think you are dealing with a cleveland fan.

Hicks pinned Satterfield, and beat Noga in a dual tournament earlier this season I believe. Don’t believe him and Salter have ever wrestled. And I know the state tournament is a different beast with who u all gotta go through to get there but Believe Hicks is hungry this year and will be in the finals. But it won’t be easy

Hicks didn't seem himself the other night at Regions in that final match he wrestled.  Don't know if he didn't feel good or what.

That is true...and I do get his point.

Another colossal mess...but courtesy, 100% of the TSSAA region placements.

heck, the boys can only wrestle what’s in front of them.

Well, unfortunately wrestling is like the other sports in that its what's best for the TSSSAA and not the wrestlers or the sport.

I will say this....in regards to it not being fair....from what I see from the results....it only effects your 3 & 4 place kids.

Most of the regions appear to have gotten their best kids, their real threats to win, into the finals....

So, usually we are arguing about how watered down the word “state qualified” is....now we’re debating what’s fair to kids that have no chance to win?

    Am I mistaken here?

I would say that you are correct, I think bump was just saying that its unfair that some only have to win one match to advance, while some have to run the gauntlet. I guess anyone that makes it to state has the chance for a magical run.

You’re right I’m sorry. Just my lashing out about the region alignment. Just not fair to kids who have full brackets. If you only have to win once to qualify, something is wrong.

No problem and I agree that even though difficulty of matches cant be the same across the different regions, the number of matches that lead to qualification should be. TSSAA has always been a money grab.

Wow, quit right before regions/state. Doesn't make sense. Strickland must have been the better wrestler than Perez as he was varsity most or all of the yr.

Perez was wrestling really well towards end of the year, but hate that Strickland quit.

It is. That and the Beech-Halls matches are both QF worthy matches. They are all right around top 8. Crazy they have to take each other out so early

I have not personally seen brentwood wrestle but I think soddy could give science hill aa tough match in the semis. Have heard Brentwood has wrestled well of late too though.
