They laid it on NG
It was tied at half time, couple turnovers killed NG in the 3rd quarter. Had a chance to tie it up but couldnt catch a break. Cosby has a really athletic QB and several good size lineman. Very little depth though. They should have a hard time stopping cloudlands ground game.

You would think with all this Covid-19 stuff and uncertainty that coaches and schools would want to take every chance they can to play. Be hard to cancel a game over some mud.

Seen Unicoi's starting QB did not play very long (#8). Do you know if he was injured?

Times News in Kingsport just said it has been cancelled.

dang. how many kids is that?
Not really sure I would bet 5a if not 6a in football. I am sure North will have some kids go to Dobyns Bennett and maybe Volunteer. Central may send some to Sullivan East, but overall I would say majority attend the new school. Central has roughly 850-900 kids and same with South. North is anywhere 450-500. So there is a chance it could be really big.

Will there only be radio streams or will there be a way to watch the game?

Sullivan County schools are consolidating next year I think. Will change numbers slightly.

It was a complete over reach. I'm hearing we won't be able to make up the Cloudland game and are gonna get NG to help fill out the schedule. I think we both have the same open date. Better than not playing
NG as in North Greene? Their open date is October 23rd.

I know one school that is playing in 3A because at time it may have been better than where they originally would be playing. However their enrollment then was 400 now it’s down about 345. Hoping to get into single A. Cutoff now is at 375

Cutoffs the same for football ?

Has that been announced or a prediction.
Not sure about the whole state but at our inservice this past week, several administrators were saying that they were told to look for football to be put off indefinitely in East Tennessee. Hope it’s not true but who knows honestly.

whats the deal with south playing north greene. i guess they want a easy jv game.
I’d say NG deserves some props for scheduling them. Not many other single A schools would do that they would just take the week off.

As we start looking toward this being a regular thing, is this the right plan to roll with?
I personally feel like the TSSAA should have left an option open for a spring season. I just don’t see certain school districts allowing some schools to play. Gonna be tough seeing other schools playing in a couple weeks while others have no idea if or when they’ll get to. Baseball coaches I have talked to were fine playing Into the summer. Would actually be better weather for baseball, starting end of April play through June. Much better than starting in February and early March.

Does that mean the South/Boone game on Aug 21 is cancelled?
Yes according to Steve Wilmoth on twitter.

If South Greene isnt shut down though, It means South Greene gets a win and Cloudland gets a no contest right? Doesn't show the game happened etc.
That is the part I am confused on....I have heard what you said but I have also heard that it is a "no contest" for both teams unless it has playoff implications.

The way I'm Looking at Cloudlands schedule, they are gonna have a weeks less of practice, and a full game behind South Greene before they have to play them in week 2 ? South Greene isn't shut down is it?
According to twitter the SG game has already been cancelled.

Greenback is also looking for a game. I know they have played a tough schedule so far.
