Any thoughts on football in Carter County this upcoming year? Unaka lost a lot of their production, Cloudland with a new head coach and Hampton could be tough. How will each team be come kickoff? 

Looking for an AAU Team in East Tennessee for a 17 year old. He is a 6'2 guard and has a lot of playing experience. If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it!

One of NG best players just had surgery on arm after he fell dunking and broke two bones. He will be out 4-6 weeks. Also have a post out with an ankle injury. Neither of these guys suited up against UH. When they get healthy, NG will be tough to beat.

They’re very young and gonna be pretty tough for the next few years. The freshman group won the Middle School Regional Championship in football last year.

You can tell none of the male athletes will play football. There are about 20 kids in the school right now that’d make a huge difference. They like dribbling the hard ball too much. Middle school program is the same way. Got three schools combining to make a team and can only get 13 players. Sad times 

How is this one gonna pan out? I know the Cole kid is pretty tough. Don’t know very much about Gibbs.

If by "best" you mean a close back and forth game, how about Bradley Central at Science Hill?

That game and Boone v Gibbs are my two front runners right now. Would like to watch Gibbs offense and Boone’s Cole but also would like to see Bradley Central.

From what I have seen, they are both playing quarterback. Vaughn is very mobile and they like to take advantage of that. Daughtry has the arm and they like to air it out with him. 

Stop Vaughn and Clowers for WG and Johnson County can name the score.

Well the main reason for moving up is that they have to play WG and CD every year anyways and by making them conference games they get more non conf games against teams they have a chance against lol 

Both teams have struggled so far this season. North greene is playing up in 3a which isn’t helping any and Cosby has had a pretty rough stretch as well. How will things go Friday night? 

CD has went to a new offensive system. They were strictly Wing-T for the longest time and now they have went to the spread due to lack of size upfront. Sophomore qb is not bad, and they have some guys that can run. North is always very physical so that may be the difference 

Yes really good game by two class programs. NG people aren’t too fond of University people so they’ll be pulling for the Cherokees 100%. They’re good but very beatable. That long bus ride to from the city to God’s Country may have an effect as well. Good luck to Greenback the rest of the way.
