I’m quite positive Waverly has never won a 3A Region Title before. Would be nice to get. Also would be nice to get that home field advantage. Will need it with Smith and East. Fairview and Waverly look very similar on the eye test. I’d give offensive advantage to Waverly and defensive advantage to Fairview. I’m expecting it to be a battle til the end.

I’d say Waverly is definitely looking forward to being back in 2A where they belong. A 3A Region Title would be nice to have due to the fact Waverly has never earned the 3A Region Title. Fairview will be tough as they always are but look forward to our continuing match ups in the future in non region play. White House has been a nice addition to play against and we’re glad we were able to split with them. Definitely looking forward getting back to 2A where I think our ultimate goal of a State Championship is achievable.

Waverly has White House Heritage then a BYE then Cheatham Co them Fairview. I fully expect Waverly to be 7-1 going into the Fairview game for the Region Championship. Fortunately we have home field advantage for that game. Looks like East and Smith will be the teams to beat. Will be interested to see how their game turns out. Both will be tough to beat.

Curious to see how this game goes. I have no idea which way it will go but my gut says Fairview gets the W. This will probably be a close game. Good luck to both

Only reason I’m saying that there is a chance is bc I know White House is banged up. Sycamore hasn’t been much in a long time but they did score 28 on Waverly and they just beat WHH. (I know that’s not saying much but it’s a confidence booster) They have momentum. If White House comes in with the attitude they should have an easy win, it could go south for WH. I do bet this game will be closer than WH wants it to be. Should it be close? No. But I also didn’t think sycamore would score 28 on us either.

That first half had me sick. Probably the worst football we played all year. The second half we started rollin. White House has a promising future with the young talent it has. Those young skill guys played tough. I was wondering if we were ever going to put a different defender on #21. 3 TDs later they made the adjustment. Felt good to get the DUB! Best of luck to White House the rest of the way. Waverly moving forward, looks like Fairview will be the challenge ahead for the Region Title.

The point of my post was that Waverly has stayed consistently competitive for the past 8 years. Y’all are a good team, not taking that away from y’all, but y’all are a big school and your arguing with a little school who has still competed at this level. And I’m proud of that. Don’t hate because I’m proud of what my team had done. Good bad or ugly I will support my team. And to lose to you all 34-36 last year has me excited for another opportunity this year to get it done against a team honestly we shouldn’t even be able to compete with
