I must admit that I missed this one. I thought Fulton would take it and I guess they came close, but OR goes to Rhea County.

I'm shocked by this score but they get that attitude from their coaches. I can't believe Walker Valley is better than Powell with respect to athletes, but Powell probably spent more time talking smack and turning the ball over than they did playing good old fashioned football. I guess the coach from Powell really has "sumtoprove" now, or whatever the heck he tweets all the time! LOL

I thought the Cats came out flat but managed to find a way to win 30-7 anyway, so that's a good thing. When you face a 3-7 team in round one, being flat is not totally unexpected. The key is that OR won anyway...I'm just thankful OR didn't come out flat like they did last year against Fulton and lost! I expect them to play better next week. I know nothing about Rhea County but the fact that they're 10-1 should get the attention of the OR players.

LOL...no you don't. I'm an OR fan and I don't even believe it. You've seen the OR offense and it's very inconsistent...way too inconsistent to win it all, but I hope you're right! I actually mean it about Fulton beating Rhea County! It's gonna happen!!!

I hate to look past any game but you have to figure OR will beat Soddy. Round Two is concerning because Rhea is usually very tough and physical and plays such a unique style of football. Fulton is Fulton and they can NEVER be counted out...just ask last year's OR team. Round three will be a tough challenge for whoever is playing in it.

When do you expect 6 to return and who will he play for when he does get back. OR has gotten better in recent weeks so I'm not sure who he should replace. I barely even remember 17 except in the Farragut game. What happened to him?

Don't be absurd and say what you mean! I hope you're right but the road is long and tough. This is my take on the road. Round One...OR should beat Soddy. Round Two...Rhea would be tough to beat at their place and Fulton would be even tougher to beat at Blankenship. Round Three...West has beaten OR three times in a row and would be more than difficult to beat at West and Powell has more talent than OR and their line is huge, making it a bad match up for OR. Round Four would be easier than Round Three but still a challenge. Round Five...no idea.

Nobody forced Fulton to move up but the fact is that Fulton with 4A numbers has much more talent than most 5A schools, and Rhea County is one of them. I think Fulton will win this game due to superior talent and strength of schedule. Since I don't follow Fulton, I'm not sure about their injury situation. I'm torn on this game because I want Fulton to win, I expect them to win, but if OR wins vs Soddy, I would prefer OR to play Rhea County, because we all know what happened last year when OR went to Fulton. All that being said, Go Falcons!
