Court is adjourned. I rewatched the GB vs SP game. Willis was held a lot. SP equally as guilty as GB on pass interference. Sorry for suggesting that the game was unfairly officiated. It was indeed poorly officiated, but not unfair to either team.

I clearly stated both were penalties. Butttt willis getting free space from tossing his defender across the field compared to a corner holding on for dear life are a bit different. Willis benefits much more from his penalty than the corner does.

I'm just saying a small corner from SP holding is a bit different than a 6'4 200 pound receiver pushing his defender off to get space. Both penalties, one more beneficial than the other Also who is snow flake?

What corner? Our starting DB's are Malachi, Matheny, Justin Morgan, and Cayden Puckett. All 4 are home grown LC kids. We've had 3 transferred, all 3 family related, only one was a starter. Any more you need to know?

In your opinion, do you think if we take the one starter (Colby Mason) that transferred into LC off our team that we would lose the game last Friday? I think we still get the same result. On the contrary, if you take Carnes off the GB team last Friday, do you think they still win that game?

Honestly the only reason I noticed it was because I specifically was watching him, he' unbelievably quick off the line and he would be blanketed and would still catch the balls. But he would 100% push off his defenders to get open on some plays, which someone of his talent getting those no calls is way too unfair

On the subject of bad officiating: I watched the film from SP vs GB and willis had SEVERAL offensive pass interference calls not get called. Contrary to belief, you cannot push off of your defender on in routes. Saw it happen several times. If I was a SP fan, i'd be upset. Not too upset though you guys had your chances.

How would his family moving there be orchestration? Orchestration would be if say dyer county's starting QB from last year lost his job and Puckett said "hey son we got a starting job for you if you move here!" and then the kid moves to LC. Him moving from COVINGTON (roughly an hour away from LC, not a rock toss across the river like Maryville to Greenback) is a pretty big move if you ask me. 2. I wasn't directing that at you, more to the GB fans that have seen film on him saying he's inaccurate. 3. Wow I missed a lot. I’ll just put my 2 cents to the past 24 hours of posting: 1. No orchestration in LC. All 3 kids that transferred in were because of family, and only one is a starter. I love LC, but you are right no one in their right mind will move here just to play football. 2. Snyder has had some inaccurate games but do not doubt his ability to pass the ball. No one would ever compare his passing ability to Carnes by any means, but snyder has a cannon and if he’s on he can be a very effective passer. Don’t expect him to pass a whole lot on Friday though. 3. I don’t care what Puckett did or didn’t say on the radio, I know he’s straight up a blunt honest person so it wouldn’t surprise me if he did say something along those lines, but I didn’t hear it and I don’t know what radio station you heard it from. Unless you have evidence of him saying it, maybe don’t bring it up

If that is true then the west is truly up in the air next year. Would not be surprised to see freedom prep make it, if the talent is still there.

Did not know that, thanks for the info. Then Cayden Puckett will be returning and will be starting QB. LC will have another good QB/RB combo but i'm not sure how good the line will be next year.

If Puckett doesn't go to milan, the starting safety and a couple other DB's/Receivers that played some good time this year and maybe 1 or 2 linemen. If he goes to milan I can only assume he'll be taking his son (starting safety and QB for next year) with him. Pretty much losing 10/11 starters on both sides. That being said, LC does have some good underclassmen so we will win the region again next year. But, I do not believe we will compete for the championship. Probably be a 8-2 or 9-1 team that gets beat third or fourth round. I think huntington will finally get their chance next year, unless freedom prep or one of those region 5 teams beats them.

Lake county has definitely suffered, but I think Humboldt has suffered the most. prior to 2014 Humboldt was ALWAYS a contender in football. South Gibson has picked them absolutely dry. I miss the LC Humboldt rivalry games, they used to be must watch football
