This guy and a lot of the other ER posters remind me of Cascade posters the last year they were in our region.... Talked a big game about how they were the best in the region and had a ton of athletes and won only one region game that year and it was against Jackson Co.... I'm not saying ER isn't better than what they have been but still need to prove it against a solid team.. btw Macons defense is not a strength of theirs so the points they put up against them in Week 1 doesn't say much.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised however if 7 is the highest that either team scores lol. 2 really good defenses will be on the field tomorrow night!

Gonna be a tough one, but I think Westy can pull it out. Injury bug is making it's way around but that's part of the game, some of the younger guys will have to step up! I'll say this.... if we score 14 we win. Issue is, our offense is still struggling! Maybe they get it figured out this week, at least I hope! My slogan for the week is "GET THE BALL TO LAW!"

Both of those are correct. D wasn't bad just wasn’t what it usually is, and part of that is simply that the twins are just hard to bring down…. Refs being terrible helped us on 2 or 3 of Macon’s big plays. They moved the ball on us just couldn’t punch it in every time luckily.

I’m gonna get this out of the way first, these refs get worse and worse every year it’s pitiful. They aren’t the reason we lost, but it was like they had no idea how to call the game. With that being said, I said going into the game if we could stop the Boarders twins then we could win… We had no answer for them… Very good athletes all around. Our defense was not the best tonight and our line play was pretty rough. As far as offense goes we have to do a better job blocking and we have to get the ball to the M Law more often, he don’t dance he runs and runs hard! Positives, the boys played hard till the end and never gave up. Good game and as much as I don’t like em, good luck on the rest of the year to the Tigers!

I heard Macon Co was giving their guys a break this week and playing their JV....

If they could of got their house sold and moved back to Motown, and I was a betting man, I woulda bet a lot of money that we would win state! They are playmakers and would have been a huge help!

I'm excited to see if the Macon Co is that good or if ERs defense is just that bad!

7-0 Eagles going into halftime. Portland has shot their self in the foot with several penalties, Westy also had a touchdown called back on a hold call 60 yards on the other side of the field… not sure about that one, excited to watch the film and see if we were really holding…

Todays the day! Portland is a little better than I have been giving them credit, and much better than last years team but I think Westy will be too. I think it comes down to line play. PHS line looks big and they are very physical. Can the Eagles pull this upset tonight on the kitty cats? Where is Posty when you need him!

I wouldn't consider them world beaters if they beat Portland....
