No Lavergne did not get second it was a tie between Lavergne and Wilson Central and Wilson Central won the tie break because they beat Beech the number one seed.

It means Wilson Central gets second, Lavergne third, Mt. Juliet fourth.

The first round will be at the higher seed home site and then the next round will be at Drakes Creek because Beech was the regular season champs and they get to host the tourney.

I second that statement about Coach Mayfield. A great coach who gave alot to girls basketball through the years. He will be missed .

Beech may have the upperhand on the number 1 spot but I would say that the 2 spot is still up for grabs. Who knows if Beech drops a game or two this week and next it would really be up for grabs. Tough district for anyone to play in.
