Derrick Davis is an option. The DC @ Sweetwater is not set in stone. I believe Davis wants the Central job as well, so we will see. 

No. Mark was HC at Central in the 80s and early 90s. Went to Basin and is now at Fannin County GA

I imagine that a few assistants may apply. I think Coach Masingale would be a great hire. A lot of good coaches available out there so IDK

Might be right. They have been sitting on 2 choices for a month. That's a fact. I was speculating on the timing but I could still be correct if it's announced Monday lol. They could also be waiting on how the vote goes down on the superintendent job. Also, he's having to deal with a baseball issue. The Head Coach of that sport has resigned so that probably threw a wrench in everything. Definetly don't envy his job.

This is also true.

And resumes were taken. Interviews given before and resumed after Christmas break. Then whittled down to a couple options. The decision has been made. The announcement will follow basketball as to not distract from that. Imo

How do you know that Tellico hasn't gone through these steps? I believe they have and are down to a couple choices. The decision will be made soon. I'm guessing when this basketball run is over. Don't want to take attention away from what they're doing.

The search is over. They have interviewed several candidates and have whittled it down to a few. Excited to hear the announcement. Hope it is the right decision for the school and community!

Any news? Have not heard of ANY interviews taking place since Christmas break.

You don't need a teaching degree to coach anymore! 

This will be a long process. I don't believe they have even completed interviews yet.
