Great game for both teams! Hate that either team had to lose, but it just looked like we wanted it more in the first half especially. We were able to control the ball and clock for a good portion of the second half and that won it for us! Great effort by CA and good luck next year in your new division and region! Very proud of our Tigers tonight!

I was on the sideline, happened right in front of me, the ball stayed in bounds! I would admit if it didn't because at this point it wouldn't matter anyway.

We didn't abandon him, we had other options... And he still had 150 passing yards. If we needed him we would have used him more, and he would have performed like always.

Most of the people from Waverly I see commenting on here though are not parents. Only one is, and he barely posts on here; when he does he is respectful. That being said I am not an adult or parent, but I respect all of the Waverly people posting on here (and CA), not just him. Coaches might as well be parents here during football season, their peers are just as important too though! p.s. it's good to see a civil conversation on this thread!!

The parents are not arrogant or cocky. This is just a thread, what else would you expect here? I don't believe that much of what is on here represents the people. Much at least, it's not always the case. Even if it was true though, talking to the kids you can see they are not cocky. I guess there is a lot of most of the time's and much's being thrown around! Lol

Yes surprisingly. One of the key players lives in my house and we do not let him read this stuff, and do not tell him anything along these lines. It is all about playing their game and keeping their mind straight. Everyone knows if you make players cocky it hurts them. I have great confidence in our community that we do not do that.

If CA can start controlling the pace then it will definitely become a challenge for us, but if Waverly gets ahead early it's gonna force yall out of that and will make it a rough game for you guys. First quarter will tell a lot about the game, no matter how much we talk it will all become clear Friday.
