Super8 glide you posted that I've noticed and have heard the rumors. Hope no one took my post to say that if you did YOUR DIGGEN. A little bird told me the west of the river talk was false. Waverly will probably have more seniors starting than we've had in awhile or ever. I hope I'm wrong that will mean younger players have really come on

It is but that's the problem. When you have the players you haft to play the situation. JD had run for alot of yards in that game they were stopping pass not run still had 2 time outs to move the ball down the field

Davidson Academy at the end of the game 1 min left two time outs left we had been running all over them. 4 income plete passes ballgame. We had trouble passing on them all night. And we still had 2 time outs in our pocket. Way to many times on 3 or 4th and long we give up big plays lot of tds

One thing I missed I no it has bit us over and over. I call it situational football example when the other team has the ball 4th and 20 on the other side of 50. 5 or 10 seconds til half everybody rushing 1 man covering 1 receiver. Out come td. I believe rush 4 put everyone back darem to pass attack run.

The ONLY problem with super stars some times there are some real jems. We have had several over the years that have not been used enough. TEAM we all make each other better

Some either don't know what they are doing or those that are just trying to promote themselves individually

McConnell is a good coach lot of great qualities but he is young and still learning. There was alot that went on this year lot of toes stepped on. To me that is football. I want the best for All these kids and I expect it. This is a team sport and I know Mc wants the best for them and he has been fitting and up hill battle he just needs to know a lot of people are trying to help him off the field more than he knows with the outside stuff. Seams like most get butt hurt overy individual stuff we need to pull together for the team. NO ONE CAN DO IT ALONE.

I agree. BUT we have got to put more emphasis on our D something we have yet to do. We have always put everything in offense and just do the basics on D. We need to b agressive and confident. We have got to stop handycaping our corners and safety and start setting a edge on D!!!!!

Yall looked good everywhere to. Coaching always kicks in and you will reload plus sounds like yall have alot of support to get all your kids to play

We are lacking the stud in skill but we have some real up and comers. I believe our studs are the lines the backbone of the TEAM. And we are solid every where else. Some of our freshman this year mite be a serprize next year and or 1 or 2 coming?

Agree. This is high school you are always building and not just as a player but a young man. The faster these First year players learn they can compete the slower this game will get for them and I believe they will learn all of life faster

If we get couple back and start playing D we could be better next year. I know we lost 3 irreplaceable skill on offense but our O line and D line should be much better and wit the right one that could come back it could b 1 of our best defenses. MOST everyone knows that is who you win a gold ball

Skill. End corner safety on D. Wide receiver or TE. Played a little qb. He's a sophomore this year i thank he was held back a year.Not real sure playing basketball. I know he was promised to play b ball and not b a spectator.

To me that has been a problem with McConnell he has had a lot more skilled kid not developed or for that part used. 2016 Carson short, 2017 Brier Johnson probably why he didn't play this year 2018 #8-#10-#32. I promise there's more waverly has alot more athletes than are being shown we had several more linemen that should have been used more in blowout game. First two years he was here starters played the whole time no matter score. Lot of good kids could have got valuable playing time not just padding numbers

We have a couple that didn't play this year if they decide to come back it will make a big difference. Brier Johnson is one he is 6 4 or 6 5 fast great hands and tough as they come

Correct. O tolerance for most a blind eye for a few. This is not as much a coach but system. We have all worked hard to get it where it is some of us where working on this way before McConnell got here that's how we got him

Amen. Need more Alum or the ones that care about our waverly kids and the pride we all have to be more passionate and vocal
