By far one of his best games of the year. Kid has unbelievable heart. He limped around most of the second half.

Covington coaches didn’t just throw in a few wrinkles they put in a totally different offense. That’s the best game plan I’ve ever seen from our coaches. And everything went accordingly. Just a few plays hurt us.

Yeah you could see the dissatisfaction on Wheelers face accepting the silver.... AGAIN.. Really feel for a great coach and guy

Without the penalty, do y’all think Alcoa kicks the 38 yarder for the win or runs the O back out there on 4th and 7? And were they running a fake or just simply trying to draw Covington offsides?

Lots of class from Alcoa players and coaches after the games as expected

Lots of heart and fight out of the Chargers. Some predicted three to four score win for Alcoa. Props to Coach Wheeler and staff. They always have the boys prepared mentally even with all the naysayers. Also didn’t run any of our Wing T offense. Looked like a lot of the veer and the midline from our offense and moved the ball well all night in a totally different scheme and a solid game plan.

Tough one to swallow for us Charger fans. Really felt like we deserved to win this game. Guess we will have to settle for the Silver once again. Congrats Alcoa.
