Congrats to the Bucs! They have a great team and they beat our butt every way possible but just remember they do get who they want while we are limited. Not whining, just telling the facts. Who are the teams lookin good out of east tennessee? Grace out of knox should do a little something with everyone returning... who else is looking good that way though?

Not seen the devils play this year but im sure they are athletic... rockwood has alot of size and harriman being young so they will be small but size doesn't matter... Yea rockwood is big but harriman has speed... rockwood didn't know what to do last yr in harriman so will it be different this yr?

Who will be the best team in Roane County this season? Some athletic teams from what I hear. And me and my dad were just looking at some pictures from rockwood basketball last season, he says the guy who helps the guys team knows his stuff and could be a really good coach in both football and basketball. My brother is in middle school and could use a good coach.

Last time I checked it was a 5 on 5 sport not 1 on 1. I think its a good matchup though.. i'd have to take the rockwood guy just b/c i dont think slusher can really create... ZB can

He's good b/c he gets to the playoffs with the talent he has... Rockwood isn't much and the talent level isn't great but he finds a way. Not saying that he is great but he's one of the best around

You need to just sign off and stay off lol FORGET THE SCHEDULE, RECORDS, AND THE ACADEMICS YA KEEP BRINGING UP FOR SOME REASON! I realize academics are important and football is 2nd behind that but this is a sports website so quit talking bout how you rank high in the merit stuff... WE DONT CARE lol We coming to play football not have a debate or a math test. The senior class for rockwood hasn't been anywhere in the playoffs since their freshman year. Only one of them played as a freshman and GP will get all they want and more from him. When it comes to post-season play the tigers know how to win under webber. He knows how to get the job done and he will get it done come friday night. Should be a diaper dandy but the tigers D is just to much for GP. Watch and see it will be muddy nasty and a fun one to watch. They couldn't get the job against webber in 04 and they will fail again this year. Webber knows how to win in the playoffs... Its that easy kids And for the dumb ppl thats going to say well where has rockwood been the last couple years... NOTE: I said in the playoffs he knows how to win so dont start running your mouth but us not making it the last couple yrs.

Hey your right... the coaches do make changes and stuff but at the same time if the players dont change it then it dont matter.. EXECUTION.... thats the main word... If the players dont execute it dont matter.. The team that best executes will win.. its that simple... as for the schedule... Yea your right its 3 A schools and a AAA school who is at home... Point being all 4 teams in my opinion could play toe to toe with GP and i'd say 3 of the 4 win.

This game should be a good one. GP dont have to water down the field to control rockwood's speed like they did in 2004-2005 school year. Rockwood dont have alot of speed, I can say that and only stupid people argue with it. I really know nothing about GP. I have seen their roster and schedule thats it. Rockwood has played a schedule that GP would prob. have maybe 3 wins against at most. Region 1 is prob. the worst region in AA football but does that mean rockwood has a walk to the 2nd round, NO. As for the status of #41... Idk but I will say this: Someone mentioned on here about GP is a better coached team. I'd have to disagree. Once again I know nothing about GP's coaching staff but just from playing under him and knowing what John Webb does to get ready for a ballgame its hard to believe. Between him and the defensive coach many hours are put in watching film. He has had his up and downs just like everyone else but in high school football the game isn't won by the coaches on friday nights. Its won by the coaches through the week preparing for the game. Friday night is won by the players that best execute what was given to them throughout the week. Its kinda sad to see the lack of support that Webb gets. He has some support but he has lost alot more than he has gained. I do disagree with some of the things that he does now and he has done in the past but I still support him and the program. He does a great job given what he has and thats all you can ask for. I hear people saying that he needs to go. I disagree. A coach at the high school level should never have to hear people say he needs to go. What everyone needs to realize is that high school sports for the kids are a privilage and dont have to be given. It should be a honor to be able to put on green and gold to represent the school. Some ppl dont see that though. Travel in packs and go support the tigers come friday night. Go Tigers!!! Rockwood is going into their last two games and alot of ppl think they have L's already down but we will just have to wait and see. I know there is a new playoff system so im not sure exactly what has got to happen in order for them to sneak in... If they are to sneak in who might they be playing?

Kingston has more speed, size and power... You people saying this stuff need to open your eyes and watch a little more football. For some reason, it dont matter what the tigers do they will always be smaller, slower and weaker than kingston. Well come friday night the tigers will be out to prove a point. I was a senior on the team that beat kingston in kingston and we was told that year we couldn't win either. Good ole webber has thrown in some new formations and spread the O out. Its worked to this point but will it this wk? I say yes... Someone mentioned something about heart on their post ealier and there is no doubt in my mind that Rockwood has more heart. Being at home in the jungle will be a advantage for the tigers but honestly i think if it was on the road they would pull it out as well. The tigers are my pick for many reasons but the main one is b/c of heart. Size power and speed will only get you so far... You gotta have heart come 4th qrter and the game is on the line... Allen for the tigers is the heart of that D and Breazeale is the trigger for the O... Rockwood throws and rushes for 150+... Tigers WIN BIG.

Roane County Champs will be named friday night... I dont know alot about the jackets but I know Rockwood and webb like the back of my hand. He is changing some things up and makin teams respect the air attack... Rockwood is a physical team... Kingston lost alot... who returned I have no clue... But i think rockwood takes this one due to experience and size... between allen moriaty (i think thats right) and dyer rockwood pounds it down kingstons throat and makes them like it... its a game im lookin forward to... cant wait to see the tigers win im saying by at least 20.
