Crazy, it seems most of their athletes are former Cleveland kids.

The “voice of the Bears” picked them (during preseason show on mymix104.com) to win every game this year except for Maryville. Said they have an explosive offense. Their QB is a transfer from McCallie.

Ok,..lol. Evidently it’s difficult to understand the impact of not having 12 starters play. WV has to find which players will step up and fill the void of the 5 out for the year. That was their focus that night. If they were concerned about winning they would have thrown then hitch all night, because it was never stopped. Congrats on the moral victory!

Unfortunately, this is 100% correct. WV needs to get healthy. The program is 1000x better than last year and is headed in the right direction. It appears Central is too! Best of luck!

With all due respect, that was not the case at all. The intent (for WV) last night was not about the score. Instead, it was about working on details and getting as many players as possible valuable experience. One thing is certain, WV needs to get healthy. As mentioned before, five of their top players are out for the year, and last night seven other starters were held out. Prayers for the kids appreciated!

Yes, he is eligible. The unfortunate thing is that wv has been hit by injury bug. They have had 5 of their top players injured and are out for the year. Definitely better coached and the program has a vision moving forward.

They actually do have talent. It’s just difficult to see since they were starting mostly sophomores, some freshman and a only few seniors. Hopefully Coach Akins can get some of the athletes from other sports at WV to play football as well.
