This is true I forgot it’s supposed to rain.
Who does the rain favor?
Marion or Bledsoe?

I’m happy to see Bledsoe fielding good teams, but Jasper IMO has too much overall talent. I look for Hutchins to have a HUGE night maybe with 4-5 TD’s too.

B - 21
4-5 touchdowns? Didn’t Taye play in last years skunk at Home?

If MC is who they say and I think they are… they win this by a couple TD’s.
I’ve heard from the north and from the south today. Bledsoe claiming a couple of bumps and bruises. Lost a good Rb for the year.couple of secondary players. The Line depth is a issue.
To the South, Marion is concerned they are not clicking and the big layoff won’t help that… AT ALL!
The only positive from the layoff is they should be healthy and fresh.
Now for the pick! Both teams come in bruised up a little but nothing major. Bledsoe has the home field and a nice passing game. Bledsoe needs this win bad with their chicken&$&@ forfeited loss in a district game vs Meigs.
Marion comes in looking for chemistry and hopefully starts clicking. Marion was smashed on the road last year at home vs Bledsoe.
I’m saying Marion goes into Bledsoe and gets revenge and barely pulls off a barnburner. Lower scoring game.

Bledsoe is in trouble and reeling after this one.

How good is Hampton this year compared to last year?

Classic Valley matchup. Bledsoe pretty much kicked their tail last year AT MARION! Now they playing at Bledsoe. If Bledsoe loses this game they are in DEEP trouble! Bledsoe is Desperate and at home. Marion looked like crap last game. Been hyped up all year.
I will make my pick in day or 2 -

Lol he doesn't realize that Taye only played qb in the 3rd qtr. If he had played the whole game there it's 35 or 42-0.
I’m very aware. I was there. Know the kids well. Marion did not play well at all. Period
-
How’s the injuries for both teams?
bledsoe?marion?
-
Tough one to call, if Bledsoe wouldn’t have chickened out on Meigs it would be easier to decide.
Marion looked horrible at Sequatchie. We should have beat them. If our offense don’t commit penalties and turnovers we beat Marion!
I will have to do some thinking on this game. -

Sequatch 35- grundy 6 I don't think them grundy boys could compete if they dropped to 1a if I was being honest, but I will say they are one of the most loyal teams to the sequtchie Valley football teams they always schedule locally for the most part and that is admirable I was shocked when I saw Tyner on their schedule
Our defense is for real. We make it rough on the mountain boys this week

Right. Karma caught up to SC and MC from all that name calling and downing Bledsoe earlier in the week.
Karma? I think that’s what Bledsoe is getting this week! You chicken out on Meigs then you all are MAGICALLY healed for Grundy… NOW they canceled on you! Lol That’s karma
-
Hopefully this Covid is at its peak and we can see less and less games canceled!

Could've taken the Covid win & saved their open date for another day.
True. But same open week you about gotta play it.

So this is the 2nd straight year Tyner could have taken the Covid win over Jasper but chose to reschedule?
Same bye week. So not exactly rocket science. But it does set Tyner up for a very difficult stretch

Yes,but way to man up and play! Our region rival last year could have played us after they took a Covid W but said "no way!"These games SHOULD be played if at all possible.
Both had same open date. Why not

Tyner must now play Bledsoe, Marion, and Meigs 3 weeks in a row instead of having a much needed bye between Bledsoe and Meigs. Of those games - only Bledsoe at home. I know there are bigger things than football going on out there and putting safety of kids first is priority but this revised schedule stinks!! The Tyner $$ game at Alcoa will follow Meigs so how about that for a four game stretch. Potentially play 3 straight ranked region opponents before you face Alcoa. Anyone want to swap schedules with that??
Man that’s a tough stretch but it makes sense. Hopefully everyone can get straightened out and we can get football rolling strong in a week or 2
Marion @ Bledsoe
in Class 1A & Class 2A

Besides the point I was trying to make.
Taye didn’t do much vs Bledsoe last year because the score was 19-0 Bledsoe!
Now you predicted 49 points for Marion a year later AT Bledsoe! That’s a big swing. That’s my point.
