I bet it will. Counties will use this as a excuse or play it to their advantage is my bet. Couple of schools have shut down for a week. If that don’t curb it nothing will. I’m in the lets move along and just deal with it crowd.. It’s getting ridiculous.

Yeti, Sequatchie and Bledsoe is one of the biggest rivals around. Lots of historic events and games between the 2.

 We all used to meet at the county line on Thursday nights and slug it out!  
They talk a big game but results usually lack. Bledsoe B is a good poster but they have lots of morons controlling the athletics in Pikeville . They could have ruled the valley but they chose politics instead!  Bledsoe seems to somehow think they are above everyone.
 Well Meigs is good at Administering butt kickings and Candy and they are fresh out of candy over there…

We will line up and run the ball this season and hope to wear teams down in the 2nd half. You could see that last night. At some point you need to work on passing game in pressure situations. 

I don’t know if you wore Sequatchie down more than we just lost out spirit with the turnovers and penalties on the offense. Make sense?

Watching the Bledsoe vs York game I will have to say we may have a hard time slowing their running back down. He mowed over opponents in his game vs York.  I do believe our defense is better than Yorks was though.That being said the winner of this game and the winner of the Marion vs Tyner game will show some separation in the region finally as I believe the best 4 teams will be playing each other in our region this Friday night. Let's talk about it.

If Sequatchie is off I will be in Meigs to see this one. Meigs offers a awesome home field environment. This game will be a quick rivalry. Lots of politics and frustrating times for several of the people involved.  
 On another note if Pikeville politics weren’t so bad the rest of the valley would be in some major trouble as Bledsoe could have been a monster. But politics blew it apart. That’s all I’ll say about that. Will be a hard hitting game.

Yeti this was a big rivalry game. No way Marion was sandbagging. The game was in doubt in the 3rd quarter. Marion just wasn’t sharp. Plus our Indian defense didn’t play half bad either.

Well you know Marion will improve. But it was surprising to see how average. I doubt Marion loses 3 more! Heck Marion only had 9 this year correct?

I agree.

For all the hype Marion underperformed last night. If we just don’t turn it over ever time we put some major pressure on Marion.

 Tyner and Bledsoe and Meigs won’t be as giving. 
If Marion is going to play 14 they have to pass the ball. Otherwise they gotta roll with 7.

Pickett has played very well in his first 2 games and will hopefully get more reps as the season goes on.

Warriors are no where close to competing in the region right now. A threat in the east?? Not unless there are major changes in the offense.

You speak the truth there.  If Marion don’t improve they lose both of those games  IMO

We definitely looked better than last week. And no disrespect but Marion has a lot of improvement to live up to their hype.  I saw several folks tonight from Bledsoe and even Meigs tonight. They gotta be licking their lips right now. Thoughts?
