I am pulling for the Mustangs! Fellow Lawrence County team that has had a great year. They are ballers. I really like to see GC play defense they do it very well. Looking forward to see how Loretto handles that pressure. Go Mustangs!!

I apologize I didn’t catch the Feb 7 game. 2 games to Loretto by double digits. My bad it wasn’t intentional. Dec 21 57-42 Stown, Jan 15 55-66 Lor, Feb 7 44-57 Lor., Feb 16 45-46 Lor., Feb 27 48-51.

Somebody yesterday said Summertown wasn’t very good. They played that Loretto team 5 times. Won 1 by double digits lost 1 by double digits the other 3 were decided by less that 3 points and 1 in OT.(not taking away from the Mustangs just give the blue some credit after a tough loss) i don’t know how they’ll handle the great defense of GC but we will see tomorrow.

Great game by both teams!! Way to go Loretto!!! They were written off by nearly everyone but wow they came thru big.

OMG!!! What a game!!

GC played a great game<period>. The refs were about as bad as refs can be at the state tourney level. Between the refs and the score keeper they killed the momentum of the game. The Refs didn’t beat Summertown though. GC beat Summertown with very solid defense and what looked like a sleepy Summertown. Summertown defense was slow and not what I seen a week or so ago. GC played great fundamental basketball. I love that brand. Great to job GC!! I hope to see a Loretto v. GC finals. Lady Eagles should be contenders next year if they can hang in to players; basketball loses a lot of good players to other sports.

The Moore girl is on another level. Heckuva player!!

Loretto is very strong. I hope to see them in the finals. They will be tested regardless which team they face.

I am pulling for Summertown but I have only seen them play one game this year and it was substate against Richland. Their offense struggled terribly in the first half but their defense was great. The defense continued in the 2nd half and they started turning defense into offense. They are by far the best defensive team Summertown has had in a long time. I didn’t see a lot in terms of offense other than not turning the ball over they just couldn’t make a shot. What is GC like? I saw someone say they was a great defensive team too.
